<strong>CASMED</strong> <strong>740</strong> <strong>Monitor</strong>s<br />
ON/STANDBY:<br />
Press once, turns “ON” the <strong>CASMED</strong> <strong>740</strong> <strong>Monitor</strong>’s display (if it<br />
was OFF).<br />
To turn the monitor’s display “OFF”, either press once or press and<br />
hold for two (2) seconds. Based on the selection for Power-Off<br />
Delay Time in the Configuration menu. Refer to Page 101 for<br />
more information.<br />
SILENCE/RESET:<br />
When pressed during an active patient alarm, silences the audio<br />
portion of that alarm for fifteen (15) seconds.<br />
When pressed during an active equipment alarm, the alarm<br />
condition shall be acknowledged along with the audio and visual<br />
shall be removed.<br />
Used to enable and disable the two (2) Minute Audio Alarm<br />
Silence or Permanent Audio Alarm Silence feature. Refer to Page<br />
101, AUDIO ALARM SILENCE (SILENCE/RESET Pushbutton) for<br />
more information.<br />
Allows the user to clear NIBP, SpO 2 and Temperature messages<br />
from the front panel display.<br />
START/STAT:<br />
START:<br />
Initiates a blood pressure measurement in the Manual Mode or<br />
begins the selected Automatic Cycle.<br />
STAT:<br />
Starts a series of NIBP measurements (press and hold for two (2)<br />
seconds). Continues for five minutes.<br />
CANCEL:<br />
Cancels any active blood pressure function and immediately<br />
deflates the cuff.<br />
Also used to cancel out of a menu and return to “Ready”.<br />
