OXIMETRY CALIBRATION CHECK<br />
The oximeter is factory calibrated to determine the percentage of arterial oxygen saturation of<br />
functional hemoglobin. No user calibration is required.<br />
REPLACING THE MONITOR BATTERY<br />
A part number for the battery can be found in the Accessories section of this manual or on the<br />
label located on the inside panel of the battery pack. When the battery fails to hold a charge it<br />
will need to be replaced.<br />
CAS Medical Systems recommends the battery be changed every two (2) years.<br />
REMOVING THE BATTERY<br />
1) Turn the monitor “OFF” and disconnect the power cord.<br />
2) Push down on the battery latch to unlock the battery door from the rear panel of the<br />
monitor.<br />
3) Carefully remove the battery pack from the rear panel of the monitor. Refer to Figure 25.<br />
