Process:
Bubble Space
Each student chooses a place to stand in the room. This is his/her personal space.
Be sure we are not touching anyone or anything.
Talk about rules during movement time - boundaries, touching of others, listening, etc.
Teacher will demonstrate the entire poem.
Students will echo phrase by phrase – speaking only.
Watch out, don’t touch, I’m in my bubble space
I take it with me everywhere I go, in sunshine, rain and
even in the snow.

Teacher will show phrase 1, adding non-locomotor (arm movements) – in personal space.
Students will echo.
Teacher will show phrase 2, adding locomotor movements (walking)– through shared space.
Again remind them not to touch others as they move through shared space.
Students will echo.
Teacher will speak and move the entire poem.
