Bali, the Island of the Gods, is a tropical paradise
where the line between myth and history is hard
to define. It is in the ancient tales that we discover
the roots of the endless ceremonies, the religious
practices, and the beliefs of the people that make it
such a special place.
DAY ONE Tabanan
Visit Taman Ayun, also known as the Royal Family Temple. The
temple dates back to the Mengwi Kingdom in 1634. Continue
to Alas Kedaton temple, in a forest known as the Monkey
Forest located in Tabanan. Continue in the late afternoon to
Tanah Lot, Bali’s most photographed temple. The temple is
perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high
tides. At sunset, the tides are low and you can walk to visit the
temple and watch the sun dip into the ocean.
DAY TWO Ubud
Ubud is well-known as the cultural centre of Bali and famous
for its many artisans. This very charming village is full with
artist studios, shops and galleries. On this trip, head out to
see the stone carvings at Batubulan, continue to Celuk for the
silver and work with its wide selection of intricate designed
pieces. Then to Mas or Kemenuh village, to see the home
skilled woodcarvers in particular the fine specimens of the
woodcarvings can be seen there. Finally check out the Balinese
paintings at the some of the best fine art galleries in Ubud.
DAY THREE Uluwatu
Head to Uluwatu, the beautiful highland area in the south of
Bali. Pay a visit to Pura Uluwatu, the cliff-side temple situated
on a headland at the westernmost tip of the peninsula. Later,
the epic Balinese Kecak dance performance starts. The
performance tells the story of an external love between Rama
& Shinta in Hinduism. It’s a touching story and the setting &
scenery will help to make it an unforgettable experience. Then
head to Teba Café Jimbaran (Bay) for a hearty fresh grilled
seafood dinner.

Botswana is an African success story and is a country for the intrepid traveller. With vast open
savannas teeming with wildlife, Botswana is truly the Africa of your dreams.
DAY ONE
Sanctuary Chief’s Camp is a luxury bush camp situated
on Chief’s Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of
the Moremi Game Reserve. This region is known as the
‘predator capital’ of Africa and is considered to have the
fi nest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five.
After lunch enjoy a Mokoro excursion. Mokoros, local
dugout canoes, offer a different perspective of the bush.
Poling through the byways created by the fl oodwaters is

DAY TWO

LATIN AMERICA IN STYLE
As Brazil gets ready for the World Cup 2014, and
Olympics 2016, there is no more of a thrilling time to
visit the country. Some of the most exciting beaches
and nature destinations are still untouched by mass
tourism and Rio de Janeiro is arguably the most
exciting city in the world.
DAY ONE Rio de Janeiro
Cycle from Copacabana beach all the way to the Sugar Loaf
Mountain. Active travellers can avoid queues and climb this
beautiful mountain, or otherwise go up by cable car. Have
lunch in a traditional meat barbecue restaurant and spend the
afternoon in the tropical Botanical Gardens. At night, go for
a Samba Class with your own personal dance instructor and
then dance the night away at the rehearsals of one of Rio’s
iconic Samba Schools.
DAY TWO Iguaçu Falls
Iguaçu Falls are the most majestic waterfalls in the world.
Wake up early and visit the Falls before the National Park
opens and have them all to yourself in a beautiful trek. As the
crowds arrive, take a private boat that will take you literally
into the Falls – get ready to get wet! Finish your visit with an

DAY THREE Pantanal
The Pantanal Wetlands are the best place in the Americas to

Angkor is a region of Cambodia that served as
the seat of Khmer empire, which flourished from
approximately the 9th to 15th centuries. The
Angkorian period began in AD 802, when the
Khmer Hindu monarch Jayavarman II declared
himself a ‘universal monarch’ and ‘god-king’, and
ended 1431, when Ayutthaya put down a rebellion
and sacked the Khmer capital.
DAY ONE Siem Reap
Upon arrival you will be transferred to Amansara resort. In the
evening, you will be taken to Amansara’s traditional wooden
Khmer village house, set on stilts and overlooks the 10-12th
century royal bathing pool of Srah Srang. You will be able to
watch the passing parade of local village life while enjoying
your sunset dinner.
DAY two Angkor Complex
Angkor Wat, the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, is the
national symbol and the highlight of any visit to Cambodia.
Enjoy your breakfast at the temple Prasat Bei before exploring
the ancient fortified city of Angkor Thom. Continue to the
magical temple Ta Prohm, overgrown by huge trees, where an
archeologist satisfies your thirst for knowledge.
DAY three Remote Temples
Explore Cambodia and its long lost jungle temples by
helicopter, including Banteay Chhmar, famous for its signature
faces of Jayavarman VII, Preah Vihear, built on a crest of the
Dangkrek mountains, Koh Ker, a seven level pyramid, and
Beng Mealea, surrounded by a moat once the size of Angkor

Tourism Vancouver
Vancouver is known as a ‘City of Nature’ with
majestic mountains, sparkling oceans, rainforests
and beautiful foliage throughout all four seasons.
Whistler, a two-hour drive north up the scenic Sea
to Sky Highway, was Vancouver’s partner city for
the 2010 Winter Olympics.
DAY ONE
Canada’s third-largest metropolitan centre, Vancouver is a
busy port with a thriving multi-cultural ambiance. The city is
located in a spectacular setting with the Coast Mountains
across an inlet to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

DAY ONE VAlPARAISO
Land in Santiago, a thriving capital that embraces modern

Trails of Indochina
Separated from the rest of the world by the sea, the
Himalayas and the desert, China developed mostly
apart from the rest of the western world, resulting in
a fantastic, unique and interesting culture.
DAY ONE BEIJING
Set out first thing to discover the magnificent Temple of
Heaven, where the Emperors came to pray for good harvests.
Today, the surrounding park is very active and is a popular
place for local residents to come in the mornings to practice
Tai Chi, dancing, and many other activities. Enjoy a lunch
with a local resident family in Hutong area, then take a visit
to the Hutongs by Rickshaw – the small lanes and courtyard
houses of old Beijing. Later visit the Imperial Summer Palace,
which was the former holiday home of the Imperial family, and
marvel at the opulence in which the Emperors lived.
DAY two GREAT WALL (JINSHANLING)
The Great Wall of China is truly a wonder of the world and
one of the only man-made sites which is visible from outer
space. Built originally as a fortification to protect the Chinese
Empire from northern armies, some parts of the wall were built
over 2,000 years ago. Enjoy a visit to the Jinshanling section
which offers a natural Wall experience. There will be ample
opportunity to explore this section of the Wall and take in the
stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
DAY three shanghai
Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, the Yu Yuan Gardens were
built as a classical relaxation garden in central Shanghai.
(Yu translates to pleasure in Chinese.) Spread over five acres
right in the heart of the old city, the gardens include several
pavillions, ceremonial halls, rock gardens and fish ponds.
After some time here, head nearby to explore other streets and
shops of the Old Town. The architecture and ambiance here,
like much of Shanghai, is a juxtaposition of old and new.

Congo

Wilderness Safaris
Covering an area of almost 342 000 square
kilometres, Republic of the Congo is slightly
smaller than Montana. The population is a mere
four million people, of which 70% live in the
south-west in the urban centres of Brazzaville and
Pointe-Noire - the rest of the country is sparsely
populated and largely pristine.
DAY ONE Lango
The Lekoli River in the Lango region offers one of the best
chances to observe the wildlife of the forest, using motorised
boats and traditional pirogues to travel. The most rewarding
time is spent drifting silently downstream searching the
beautiful forested banks for Forest Elephant, Forest Buffalo,
primate species like Putty-nosed Monkey and de Brazza’s
Monkey and birds. Chimpanzees are regular in this area,
although more often heard than seen.
DAY two Lango
Exploring the Lango area on foot offers many great wildlife
viewing opportunities. The area’s savannah, marsh, swamp
forest and riverine forest are home to Forest Elephant and Forest
Buffalo, both of which are regularly encountered. Stalking
quietly along forest trails can produce sightings of Red River
Hog and shy forest birds. Monkeys are also often encountered
and the riverine and swamp forest is home to no less than
eight monkey species. Guereza Colobus and Grey-cheeked
Mangabey are regularly seen.
DAY three Ngaga Camp
As a result of the work done by gorilla researchers Dr Magda
Bermejo and German Illera, habituated Gorilla groups can
be tracked and observed in the area around Ngaga Camp.
In the extended area there are seven groups totalling 105
individual gorillas. Tracking takes place on foot with guides
and a skilled local tracker, following the tracks and signs of the
animals until they are located.

DAY ONE Yangon
Yangon is the former capital of Myanmar and has a population of
over 6 million inhabitants. The most famous monument in Yangon
is the Shwedagon Pagoda, a must for every visit to Myanmar. It
is located in midtown Yangon between the People’s Park and the
Kandawgyi Lake. The over 2,600-year-old Shwedagon Pagoda
appears most beautiful during the early morning or in the evening,
when you are able to enjoy this unique sight in different colours.
DAY two Bagan
Bagan is Myanmar’s greatest wonder. This ancient city alongside
the Irrawaddy River features thousands of temples and pagodas,
covering an area of approximately 40 square km. Bagan is not
only one of Myanmar’s greatest attractions, but also one of the
most remarkable archaeological sites of the world. Among others,
you may visit the Ananda Temple, the Dhammayangyi Temple
and the Htilo-Minlo Temple.
DAY three Inle Lake
Inle Lake, is home to the Intha people, among others, who
have adapted to their watery environment by building whole
villages rising on stilts from the shallow waters. Lake dwellers
have become famous for their unique leg rowing technique and
grow an array of flowers and vegetables in picturesque floating
gardens. In the morning visit the so-called Five-Day-Market. The
market rotates between different villages over five days, and visits
Indaing, Ywama and a site next to the Phaung Daw U Pagoda.
You may also visit the Nga Phe Monastery, also known as the
‘Monastery of the jumping cats’, since monks have trained their
cats to jump through hoops. The different ancient Buddha images
inside make this monastery a worthwhile stop.

Snowy Andean peaks, majestic deep blue and emerald

DAY TWO El CAlAFATE
El Calafate is the gateway to the majestic world of glaciers.
This town is located by Lago Argentino, a green water
surface covering 1600 km. It is the starting point for all
glacier circuits that take place inside the national park
called ‘Los Glaciares’. The park has over 45 glaciers; the
most famous is Perito Moreno glacier located 80 km away
from town, and it is probably the only one on earth that
can be accessed with no need of mountain climbing at all.
DAY THREE USHUAIA
The city at the end of the world, the town of Ushuaia lies
on the shores of the Beagle Channel, a community which
depends variously on fi shing, heavy industry and tourism
for its livelihood. The city is an excellent base from which
to explore the Martial Glacier which overlooks the town,
the Lapataia National Park or from which to take one of the
many boat excursions along the Beagle Channel to sight
the wildlife. From sea-lions to penguins and cormorants in a

Each morning, the narrow streets echo with squeals of fright

it has served as the residence of the early Chakri Dynasty Kings.

DAY two Chiang Mai

DAY three Koh Samui
The deep blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand are ideal for game

be typically found around Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum includes
Barracuda, Sharks, Snapper, Cobia, Mackerel, Grouper and
Travally. Your captain knows the places around Koh Samui very
