The Career Management Center’s (CMC) online job search database (NACElink) gives students access to
a list of many of “IIT On-Campus Jobs”. Through NACElink students can apply and submit their resume
directly to the department online. Students need to visit the CMC and register for an account to take
advantage of NACElink.
Some IIT departments use NACElink, while others do not. Because of this, students should also check
with individual departments for other on-campus opportunities.
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) supports IIT’s primary technology systems including
administrative systems, myIIT and the network and telephone infrastructure. OTS departments include
Technology Infrastructure, Project Management and Application Services, Telecommunications, and
Technology Support. OTS maintains over 450 computers in its classrooms, labs and public terminals
throughout Main, Stuart and Rice campuses. The classrooms are used for courses and IIT-organized
events. To ensure that students have access to equipment that supports their academic goals, the
computers in the classrooms and labs are refreshed on a three-year cycle. The classroom and lab
instructional software is reviewed every semester by the IIT Software Committee, and is updated after
thorough testing for compatibility with existing hardware and software.
