ISSUED BY: Bureau Veritas Liaison Office Tehran (LO THR) (based upon PFI,
bank’s LC/Importer's application).

VERITAS TO ISSUE REPORT: Shipping documents and Certificate of Analysis/Quality (if applicable)
TYPE OF REPORT ISSUED: Inspection Certificate to exporter only.
REPORT PURPOSE: An “Inspection Certificate” required by the Exporter to negotiate his
Letter of Credit (L/C) or sight draft negotiation.
6. Inspection fees
Inspection fees borne by the Importers but paid by the Exporter directly to Bureau Veritas Centre of Relations
with Exporters (CRE).
Nevertheless, Bureau Veritas may also invoice the Seller in the event of supplementary inspection visits (in vain
or unsatisfactory results during first Inspection).
The costs incurred by the Seller in presenting the goods for inspection, such as unpacking, handling, testing,
sampling, repackaging... are for the Seller’s account.
7. List of goods exempted
• Importations from Barter Trade countries;
• Importations without payment of foreign exchange unless inspection specifically requested by importer.
Exception: goods benefiting from special facilities.
• The following organisations: Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, Plan and Budget Organisation, Physical
Education Organisation of Iran, Islamic Republic of Iran Voice and Image Organisation, Islamic Republic of
Iran Central Bank and other banks of the country.On case by case basis for the following organisations:
Bonyad Shahid Enghalab Eslami, Bonyad 15 Khordad, Bonyad Jenbazan, Headquarters of the War
Reconstruction and Renovation, Committee Emdad Imam Khomeini;
• Arms and ammunitions,
• Gold;
• Precious stones;
• Goods with origin CIS.

10. Other relevant information
All goods purchased from Syria and also all Iron and Steel products under Tariff No. 73/06 to 73/40 with country
of shipment as Japan, South Korea, The Netherlands, Turkey, England, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden,
Norway, Finland, Canada, Australia, Brazil are to be inspected only by IEI.

The information contained herein is for the purpose of facilitating Pre-Shipment Inspection and does not relieve Exporters or Importers from
their obligations in respect of compliance with the import regulations of the country of importation. Although every effort has been made to
ensure the correctness of the information, as at the date of issuance of this data sheet, Bureau Veritas does not accept any responsibility for
errors or omissions and, furthermore, the information may subsequently be subject to change as may be announced by the Authorities in the
country of importation. Consequently, Exporters are advised to check with Bureau Veritas, prior to shipment of the goods, if there is any
doubt concerning the issuance of a Clean Report of Findings.
