INTERNAL CREDIT TRANSFER SCHEME FOR FRESH ADMISSION<br />
TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME<br />
AFTER EXPIRY OF MAXIMUM DURATION<br />
(Effective Jan. 2011 onwards)<br />
1. A Student who is not able to complete the Management Programme fully within the maximum stipulated<br />
time period i.e., 8 years, will have to take fresh admission into the programme and will be allotted a new<br />
enrolment number.<br />
2. In this new enrolment number the credits earned by the students in the old enrolment will be fully<br />
transferred, as per credit transfer scheme.<br />
3. The student will have to apply for credit transfer by paying the requisite fee of `200/- per course after<br />
filling up the form for fresh admission to Management Programme given on the following pages and a<br />
new enrolment no. will be allotted.<br />
Once a student takes fresh admission into the Management Programme, it will be valid for another 8<br />
years. The student will be required to complete all the courses during this time period, as no further fresh<br />
admission will be granted after expiry of 16 years. In case, such a student wishes to pursue the programme<br />
further, s/he will have to appear in OPENMAT as a fresh candidate and there will be no provision for<br />
credit transfer.<br />
However the students who were admitted during 1987-89 will not be required to appear in OPENMAT, if<br />
they seek fresh admission in January 2011 onwards.<br />
4. For students who were registered till 1997 and were permitted to complete PGSDM under 3+2 scheme,<br />
will have to complete Five courses in all from the chosen area of specialization under the new scheme, in<br />
case they seek fresh admission, from Jan, 2011 onwards.<br />
5. Credit transfer under the above scheme will be applicable only once and for a completed course only.<br />
6. For fresh admission the student will have to fill up fresh admission Form (Form 3).<br />
7. For Credit Transfer of completed courses, the student will have to fill up Application for Internal Credit<br />
Transfer in Management Programme (Appendix-7 proforma) separately. The Credit Transfer Form can<br />
be filled only after new enrolment no. has been duly allotted.<br />
