What makes a good intern? Based on her experience as
Founding Partner and CEO at Cygnus Asset Management, with
around 20 interns recruited over the past 7 years, Isabel will
talk about the qualities and characteristics she considers make
for a successful intern.
She will also explore the expectations that firms such as Cygnus
may have when agreeing to provide internship opportunities.
Isabel has extensive experience in management and
investments both at operating companies as in HF and PE.
She began her career at the Emerging Markets-Fixed
Income Division at Banco Santander de Negocios in Madrid
and later was an allocator and Vice President at Khronos
LLC, an unregistered investment adviser in New York.
Isabel has an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Sc. in Economics
from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
