Courses and credits
Visiting Students will have a full-time academic program and must complete 30 ECTS credits per semester. You may choose
from the variety of courses which are offered, as long as the course schedules are not conflicting.

Note that from May to July, most courses are online, while students are away on internship. Visiting Students who will take
Architecture courses must attend in the first semester, as starting on February 24th, these courses are delivered online.

Continuing your studies at IE University
Visiting Students have the opportunity to apply for a transfer after having completed their program.

Admission Process
The Visiting Student admission process is comprised of three phases:
Phase I: Application (admission fee, documentation and admission test)
Phase II: Personal Interview
Phase III: Admissions Committee Decision
During the Application stage, along with the Visiting Student Application Form, you must submit the following documents:
- Academic transcript; Officially Certified
- Curriculum Vitae/Résumé
- Teacher Letter of Recommendation
- Advisor/Dean Letter of Recommendation
- Personal Documentation (Awards, Honors, etc)
- Photocopy of your Passport
- 2 Passport Sized Photos
- €120 Application Fee
The Admissions Department will arrange a date and time for the personal interview after the applicant has successfully passed
the first application phase. The interview can be conducted at IE University´s campuses in Segovia or Madrid, at one of our
international offices, or by telephone/Skype if you are not able to attend the interview in person.
After Phases I and II have been successfully completed, the Admission Committee will make a decisión. You will be sent written
notification approximately two weeks after the process has been completed.
University Costs
As a visiting student, the cost of credits and all other fees related to studying in our Visiting Student Program must be paid in
full to IE University.
Admission Fee:
€120 (non refundable)
Place reservation: €1,500 (to be deducted from the total tuition fees; non refundable)
1 semester: €9,000 tuition fees
2 semesters: €18,000 tuition fees
