Customer Card Data Architecture Version 1.5.4 Specification 32 5.5 Transaction Information File This file records financial transactions made by the customer at a bank terminal. In Table 23: • Data element 1 Transaction Identification Number is a unique number identifying the transaction provided by the terminal application. It is to be with combination of CSP / BC agent and the serial number of the day in the bank terminal. • Data element 10 indicates whether manual override was made for biometric authentication. The counter value in the “MOCOUNTER” in the data table of the customer card has to be correspondingly updated depending on the value in this field. • Data element 11 Source of Transaction is to indicate whether the transaction happened online or offline. The possible values are: o 0 - Customer initiated online. o 1 - Customer initiated offline. o 2 - Backend initiated transaction. • Data element 12 Transaction Status indicates the success or failure of the transaction. o 0- Failure o 1- Success IBA-IDRBT Technical Committee on Open Standards for Financilal Inclusion January 2010
Customer Card Data Architecture Version 1.5.4 Specification 33 • The contents of the file will include 10 records with simple TLV structure. The tags will be a number from 01 to 0A, unique for each record. Further records are to be added on the FIFO (First In First Out) basis. The number of offline transactions will be restricted for each customer based on the counter value in the BC agent card (value to be decided by the Bank based on their policy).
