A new record type “AAAA” which contains a 128 bit address.<br />

Just as <strong>for</strong> the “in-addr.arpa” domain used <strong>for</strong> converting Ipv4 addresses into<br />

names, IPv6 defines an “ipv6.int” domain:<br />

thus the address 2001:0DB8:1:2:3:4:567:89ab is represented as:<br />

b.a.9.8.7.6.5.0.4.0.0.0.3.0.0.0.2.0.0.0.1.0.0.0.8.b.d.0.1.0.0.2.IP6.INT<br />
