Host ID<br />

Note that although we refer to it as the Host ID part of the address, it is really the<br />

address of an interface.<br />

Dotted decimal notation: write each byte as a decimal number, separate each of<br />

these with a “.” i.e., 10000010 11101101 00100000 00110011 ⇒ 130.237.32.51<br />

or in hexadecimal as: 0x82ED2033<br />
