Clarissa Burt is an award winning media personality,<br />

television producer, actress, show host, emcee and top<br />

international supermodel with more than 25 years of<br />

experience in the modeling and media industries. She was<br />

the “Face” worldwide for various cosmetic houses such<br />

as Orlane, Carita’, Dior, Helena Rubenstein and Revlon.<br />

Her signature walk has been seen on most major runways<br />

around the world and she has appeared on more than<br />

200 magazine covers including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue,<br />

Cosmopolitan, Donna, Anna, Amica, Supermodels<br />

Unlimited and <strong>Fashion</strong> <strong>Faces</strong> to name a few. Clarissa<br />

has performed in over 20 movies and it best remembered<br />

for her portrayal as Xayide in “The Neverending Story II”,<br />

Melody in “Edera”, and Giulia in “Caruso Paskosky di<br />

Padre Pollaco.”<br />

This Who’s Who of International and American Women<br />

added television producer to her credits in 1999. Clarissa<br />

Burt Media Group began with productions that included<br />

the nationally broadcast three-hour live television<br />

show “The Miss Universe Pageant.” “The World Sports<br />

Awards”, “Quizzauto” and “Behind the Scenes with The<br />

Miss” garnering her various coveted international<br />

television awards. “Clarissa Burt Talks” featured<br />

this multi-talented media celebrity on Voice America and<br />

World Talk Radio where she interviewed knowledgeable<br />

entrepreneurs and prominent thought leaders.<br />

A leading authority on beauty, image and self-esteem,<br />

Clarissa is a featured columnist for such international<br />

publications as The Huffington Post, Supermodels<br />

Unlimited, Runway Magazine, Catwalk Magazine, Bella<br />

Petite, <strong>Fashion</strong> <strong>Faces</strong> and The LA <strong>Fashion</strong> Magazine<br />

where she is currently Editor at Large and Beauty Editor.<br />

Her Clarissa Burt Beauty cosmetic line was featured on<br />

Home Shopping Network in Italy with great success, as<br />

was The Clarissa Burt Hair line of extensions, clips and<br />

accessories.<br />

Most recently, Ms. Burt was named Ambassador to the<br />

United States for the “Walking Africa” campaign and<br />

was instrumental in helping African women win the<br />

2011 Nobel Peace Prize.<br />

In 2012, Ms. Burt launched The Clarissa International<br />

Model University and The Clarissa International Model<br />

Search and Awards affording aspiring models the most<br />

comprehensive modeling workshops, intensive modeling<br />

boot camps and an awards ceremony. Also, a Director,<br />

Scout, Instructor, and Resource for The International<br />

Model and Talent Association. Clarissa hand-picks and<br />

develops talent showcasing them in front of 300 agents<br />

from all over the world.<br />

Ms. Burt co-authored two books in 2012; “The Rise” and<br />

“Off the Coast of Zanzibar” showcasing her positive<br />

message of self-esteem. Her upcoming book “The<br />

Self-Esteem Regime” is a book series intent on giving<br />

inspiration, motivation, and positive messaging to girls<br />

and women through her “U. R. E.N.U.F.” message<br />

underlining a “look good, feel good, be good, do good<br />

philosophy”. “The Self-Esteem Regime” is due for<br />

Winter 2012 distribution. Clarissa’s sits on the Boards<br />

of The Girls Rule Foundation, Wings to Fly, The Global<br />

Women’s Empowerment Network, Be Your Own You,<br />

IAMLA and The New West Symphony. Her<br />

mission is and always will be the betterment of<br />

women and girls.<br />
