Clarissa Burt is an award winning media personality,
television producer, actress, show host, emcee and top
international supermodel with more than 25 years of
experience in the modeling and media industries. She was
the “Face” worldwide for various cosmetic houses such
as Orlane, Carita’, Dior, Helena Rubenstein and Revlon.
Her signature walk has been seen on most major runways
around the world and she has appeared on more than
200 magazine covers including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue,
Cosmopolitan, Donna, Anna, Amica, Supermodels
Unlimited and Fashion Faces to name a few. Clarissa
has performed in over 20 movies and it best remembered
for her portrayal as Xayide in “The Neverending Story II”,
Melody in “Edera”, and Giulia in “Caruso Paskosky di
Padre Pollaco.”
This Who’s Who of International and American Women
added television producer to her credits in 1999. Clarissa
Burt Media Group began with productions that included
the nationally broadcast three-hour live television
show “The Miss Universe Pageant.” “The World Sports
Awards”, “Quizzauto” and “Behind the Scenes with The
Miss” garnering her various coveted international
television awards. “Clarissa Burt Talks” featured
this multi-talented media celebrity on Voice America and
World Talk Radio where she interviewed knowledgeable
entrepreneurs and prominent thought leaders.
A leading authority on beauty, image and self-esteem,
Clarissa is a featured columnist for such international
publications as The Huffington Post, Supermodels
Unlimited, Runway Magazine, Catwalk Magazine, Bella
Petite, Fashion Faces and The LA Fashion Magazine
where she is currently Editor at Large and Beauty Editor.
Her Clarissa Burt Beauty cosmetic line was featured on
Home Shopping Network in Italy with great success, as
was The Clarissa Burt Hair line of extensions, clips and
accessories.
Most recently, Ms. Burt was named Ambassador to the
United States for the “Walking Africa” campaign and
was instrumental in helping African women win the
2011 Nobel Peace Prize.
In 2012, Ms. Burt launched The Clarissa International
Model University and The Clarissa International Model
Search and Awards affording aspiring models the most
comprehensive modeling workshops, intensive modeling
boot camps and an awards ceremony. Also, a Director,
Scout, Instructor, and Resource for The International
Model and Talent Association. Clarissa hand-picks and
develops talent showcasing them in front of 300 agents
from all over the world.
Ms. Burt co-authored two books in 2012; “The Rise” and
“Off the Coast of Zanzibar” showcasing her positive
message of self-esteem. Her upcoming book “The
Self-Esteem Regime” is a book series intent on giving
inspiration, motivation, and positive messaging to girls
and women through her “U. R. E.N.U.F.” message
underlining a “look good, feel good, be good, do good
philosophy”. “The Self-Esteem Regime” is due for
Winter 2012 distribution. Clarissa’s sits on the Boards
of The Girls Rule Foundation, Wings to Fly, The Global
Women’s Empowerment Network, Be Your Own You,
IAMLA and The New West Symphony. Her
mission is and always will be the betterment of
women and girls.
