6.4. Security, immigration and taxes<br />

The rules governing identification and authorization will vary from one country to another<br />

depending on the local transportation authority.<br />

6.4.1. Departing passengers screening<br />

The security staffs control the airside access. Checking valid flights ensures that:<br />

• Passengers are entering the right terminal<br />

• Passengers are not going airside after boarding has closed or when a flight is cancelled<br />

The authorities can use the 2D bar code on the <strong>BCBP</strong> to automate the control. Recording a set<br />

of fields for each <strong>BCBP</strong> enables to track duplicates.<br />
