Instructions for RCE participants
Please read the following instructions carefully before filling up the ‘Registration Form’
(overleaf). The form is to be filled in English. All fields (1-11) are compulsory and the
details are to be filled in BLOCK LETTERS only
• Youth between the age group of 16-24 years can apply.
• YUVA Meet is open for students enrolled in a recognized educational institution or
Institutes of higher learning.
• Maximum 2 participants from each RCE can register for YUVA Meet. Kindly provide the
details of the applicant(s) in the prescribed registration form (attached). Final
nominations to be done by the respective RCE’s only.
• Each applicant will be required to submit individual application form (attached).
However, the final selection of participants will be done by TERI.
• A Registration fee of $ 50 will be charged from each participant. The fee paid is nonrefundable.
The selected participants can make the payment by cash at the time of registration
during YUVA Meet 2013.
• Participants should reach Delhi by 27 January 2013. The RCE Youth Session will be
over by 30 January 2013 (evening). Return tickets can be booked accordingly. The
organizers will not cover the travel cost of participants . For those who would like to
request travel support from UNU-IAS, please submit your complete ‘Travel Support

Request Form’ together with ‘Application Form’, ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Article’ to
RCE Global RCE Service Centre (rceservicecentre@ias.unu.edu) and RCE Delhi
(supriya.gulati@teri.res.in or ragini.kumar@teri.res.in) no later than Monday, 3
December 2012.
• TERI would provide boarding and lodging to all the participants starting from 27
January 2013 – 31 January 2013 (noon).
• Transport from/to the airport at New Delhi can be arranged by RCE Delhi on direct
payment basis to the taxi driver. The approximate cost of one side transport is INR.

• Participants should carry a letter of authorization from the respective RCEs.
• All participants will receive participation certificate from TERI.
• Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS) is scheduled from 31 January 2013 - 2
February 2013. If you wish to participate in this conference, please register yourself
at http://dsds.teriin.org/2013/.
• One outstanding young participant will be felicitated with ‘Green Globe Award’, an
initiative by Green Globe Foundation.
• The last date for registration is 03 December 2012

articles (in Microsoft Word format) duly signed by the Head of the institution/ RCE
Coordinator, and Travel Support Request Form preferably by e-mail at:

Guidelines for Article submission:
1. The article should be based on the aforementioned theme and related topics and issues.
2. The medium of the article should be in English language only.
3. The article has to be the original work of the applicant. Any plagiarized content/ information will
be disqualified.
4. Shortlisted articles may be published in the proceedings of the YUVA Meet 2013.
5. Word limit for article is 1000-1500 words.
6. References in the article should follow Harvard Style of referencing.
7. The article should be submitted in Microsoft Word (97-2003 or 2010 format only). Please use
Times New Roman font, size 12 with line spacing 1.15. PDF versions will not be accepted.
8. Applicant’s complete details as name, college details, course details, contact details and e-mails
must be mentioned on the title page of the paper.
