Instructions for RCE participants<br />

Please read the following instructions carefully before filling up the ‘Registration Form’<br />

(overleaf). The form is to be filled in English. All fields (1-11) are compulsory and the<br />

details are to be filled in BLOCK LETTERS only<br />

• Youth between the age group of 16-24 years can apply.<br />

• <strong>YUVA</strong> <strong>Meet</strong> is open for students enrolled in a recognized educational institution or<br />

Institutes of higher learning.<br />

• Maximum 2 participants from each RCE can register for <strong>YUVA</strong> <strong>Meet</strong>. Kindly provide the<br />

details of the applicant(s) in the prescribed registration form (attached). Final<br />

nominations to be done by the respective RCE’s only.<br />

• Each applicant will be required to submit individual application form (attached).<br />

However, the final selection of participants will be done by TERI.<br />

• A Registration fee of $ 50 will be charged from each participant. The fee paid is nonrefundable.<br />

The selected participants can make the payment by cash at the time of registration<br />

during <strong>YUVA</strong> <strong>Meet</strong> <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

• Participants should reach Delhi by 27 January <strong>2013</strong>. The RCE Youth Session will be<br />

over by 30 January <strong>2013</strong> (evening). Return tickets can be booked accordingly. The<br />

organizers will not cover the travel cost of participants . For those who would like to<br />

request travel support from UNU-IAS, please submit your complete ‘Travel Support


Request Form’ together with ‘Application Form’, ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Article’ to<br />

RCE Global RCE Service Centre (rceservicecentre@ias.unu.edu) and RCE Delhi<br />

(supriya.gulati@teri.res.in or ragini.kumar@teri.res.in) no later than Monday, 3<br />

December 2012.<br />

• TERI would provide boarding and lodging to all the participants starting from 27<br />

January <strong>2013</strong> – 31 January <strong>2013</strong> (noon).<br />

• Transport from/to the airport at New Delhi can be arranged by RCE Delhi on direct<br />

payment basis to the taxi driver. The approximate cost of one side transport is INR.<br />

1000.<br />

• Participants should carry a letter of authorization from the respective RCEs.<br />

• All participants will receive participation certificate from TERI.<br />

• Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS) is scheduled from 31 January <strong>2013</strong> - 2<br />

February <strong>2013</strong>. If you wish to participate in this conference, please register yourself<br />

at http://dsds.teriin.org/<strong>2013</strong>/.<br />

• One outstanding young participant will be felicitated with ‘Green Globe Award’, an<br />

initiative by Green Globe Foundation.<br />

• The last date for registration is 03 December 2012<br />
