The distribution of neonatal deaths for
seven birth-weight groups for 15 areas
(Table 8) reveals important differences.
For the low-weight group of 2,500 grams or
less, the variation is from 53.9 per cent in
Monterrey to 78.4 per cent in Metropolitan
Kingston. Figure 28 shows the percentage
distributions in the 15 areas, in descending
