Cervantite.<br />
Composition.—Sb2O4 or Sb.203.Sb205.<br />
Properties.—Orthoiiombic. In acicular crystals. Also massive.<br />
H. = 4-5. G. =4-084. Lustre greasy or pearly, bright or earthy.<br />
Colour yellow or nearly white. Streak yellowish white to white.<br />
Before blowpipe, infusible and unaltered.<br />
Occurrence.—A product of alteration of other antimonial ores. At<br />
Cervantes in Galicia, Spain; Chazelles in Auvergne; Felsobanya,<br />
Eremnitz in Hungary; Pereta in Tuscany; also in Cornwall, Borneo,<br />
Mexico, Quebec, and California.<br />
Chalcostibite.<br />
Composition.—CuSbS2 or Cu2S.Sb2S3.<br />
Properties. — Orthorhombic. H. = 3-4. G. = 4-75-5-0. Lustre<br />
metallic. Colour between lead-gray and iron-gray.<br />
Chanarcillite.<br />
Named from Chaiiarcillo. A silver-white ore for which Domeyko<br />
gives the formula Ag2(As, Sb)3.<br />
Corongnite.<br />
Composition.—An antimonate of lead and silver. An analysis<br />
gives:— Sb2O5 58*97 percent.<br />

Properties.—Amorphous. H. = 2*5-3. G. = 5*05. Colour, exterior<br />
grayish yellow, interior blackish.<br />
Occurrence.—Kt the mines of Mogollon, Huancavelica, etc., Peru.<br />
Dyscrasite.<br />
Composition.—A silver antimonide including Ag^Sb and AgGSb.<br />
Properties.—Orthorhombic. Twins producing stellate forms. H.<br />
= 3*5-4. G. = 9*44-9*85. Lustre metallic. Colour and streak silverwhite.<br />
