Description of controlled systems
B.6.2 – Flow control
Two modes of operation are used on the assembled flow control
system:
• Flow control with the help of a proportional valve.
The correcting variable in this case is the stroke of the valve piston,
the pump P runs constantly.
• Flow control with the help of the pump.
In this case, the correcting variable is the speed of the pump.
The changeover between the two modes of operation can be made
simply via manually operated stop cocks.
