knowledge gained over 25 years of trailer manufacture

A COMPANY ON THE 

ROAD TO SUCCESS 

MILESTONES AT HUMBAUR GMBH 

• 1957 Founded by Anton Humbaur at Donauwörth 

as a seller of agricultural machinery (trailers, 

ploughs, grain mills, etc.) 

• 1978 / 1979 Decline in agricultural machinery sales. 

Anton Humbaur decided to include new products 

in his sales programme 

• 1980 Move to Gersthofen, construction of a new 

warehouse and office building 

• 1981 Entry into car trailer distribution and sales. In 

the initial phase, these were imported from Italy, 

converted for the German market and sold on 

from Gersthofen 

• 1982 Ulrich Humbaur, our present managing 

director, joined the company 

• 1984 We started manufacturing our own car trailers 

• 1985 Humbaur GmbH company founded 

• 1989 We stopped selling agricultural machines and 

accordingly increased our production of trailers for 

private and commercial use 

• 1998 We started to produce horse trailers 

• 2001 We moved into newly-built administration 

and production facilities (22,000 m²) at Mercedesring,

clearance (e. g. road sweepers) we recommend 

the SENKO model. This trailer can lower its bed 

hydraulically to the ground, thereby reducing the

concept of the box trailer product series. The roof 

and side walls are made of 45 mm thermo-insulated 

sandwich plates, making them ideally suited for the

The CLEON – the all-rounder among horse trailers is 

designed for two horses. The trailer is a functional 

wooden poly trailer with a wide range of standard 

extras to satisfy all your horse transporting needs. 

A particular detail is the split middle separating wall.

at the front.
