ART. XXII, SEC. 1-2<br />
The principal executive officer shall, in general,<br />
supervise, conduct, and control all of the business and<br />
affairs of the <strong>Local</strong> Union, its officers, and employees.<br />
He shall have charge and supervision of all the officers<br />
and employees of the <strong>Local</strong> Union including elected<br />
Business Agents. The principal executive officer shall<br />
also have charge of all labor controversies involving the<br />
<strong>Local</strong> Union.<br />
Officers<br />
Section 2(a). The officers of the <strong>Local</strong> Union shall<br />
consist of a President, Vice President, Recording<br />
Secretary, Secretary-Treasurer, and three (3) Trustees.<br />
These officers shall constitute the Executive Board of<br />
the organization. However, the General Executive Board<br />
shall have the authority to approve other titles and/or<br />
Executive Board organizational structures that have been<br />
approved by the members of an affiliate, where such<br />
variations are necessary to reflect prevailing practice in<br />
an industry or to facilitate the affiliation of a non-<br />
<strong>Teamsters</strong> labor organization.<br />
Meetings of <strong>Local</strong> Union Executive Boards shall be<br />
no less frequent than meetings of the <strong>Local</strong> Union. The<br />
meetings of the General Executive Board, Conference<br />
Policy Committees, and the Executive Boards of <strong>Local</strong><br />
Unions and all other subordinate bodies shall be open<br />
only to those persons who have been specifically permitted<br />
to attend by such Boards or Committees.<br />
(b). A <strong>Local</strong> Union Executive Board shall not have the<br />
authority to bind the <strong>Local</strong> Union for personal services to<br />
be rendered to the <strong>Local</strong> Union or its Executive Board,<br />
such as, but not limited to, legal, accounting, consulting,<br />
public relations, and editorial services, by contract, agree-<br />
