ing to transfer has already obtained employment within the<br />
jurisdiction of the <strong>Local</strong> Union; provided further, the member<br />
seeking to transfer shall comply with all rules and regulations<br />
set forth in this <strong>Constitution</strong> respecting transfer<br />
and provided further, he shall comply with rules and regulations<br />
of the <strong>Local</strong> Union and its <strong>Constitution</strong> and<br />
Bylaws. A member who has transferred to a <strong>Local</strong> Union<br />
shall be entitled to the rights and privileges of membership<br />
in the <strong>Local</strong> Union in accordance with the rules and regulations<br />
of the <strong>Local</strong> Union.<br />
(c). The transfer card shall be deposited immediately<br />
with the <strong>Local</strong> Union into which transfer is sought, and<br />
upon such deposit the transfer shall become effective.<br />
For purpose of Article II, Section 4(a) and Article XXII,<br />
Section 4, membership in the <strong>Local</strong> Union into which<br />
transfer has been accomplished shall be considered to<br />
begin with the month following the month in which the<br />
transfer became effective. Upon transfer the member is<br />
subject to the rules, Bylaws, and agreements of the <strong>Local</strong><br />
Union to which he has transferred.<br />
(d). A member in good standing who requests a transfer<br />
card shall not be responsible for payment of dues or<br />
assessments which accrue in the <strong>Local</strong> Union from<br />
which transfer is requested after the month in which<br />
application for transfer is made. Thereafter, a member<br />
becomes obligated to the <strong>Local</strong> Union into which transfer<br />
is requested. In no case shall the <strong>Local</strong> Union into<br />
which the member has transferred charge the member<br />
dues for the month in which the card was requested. The<br />
<strong>Local</strong> Union from which a member has been transferred<br />
shall be obliged to refund to such member dues paid in<br />
advance to such <strong>Local</strong> Union covering the period from<br />
the end of the month in which such member has transferred<br />
to the end of the period for which such dues have<br />
