Section X Total Relationship Balance (TRB) and Below Balance Fee (BBF)
1) The Bank uses Total Relationship Balance as one of the eligibility criteria for HSBC Premier
Customers. For illustration purposes, please refer to the example below:
Example 1: Calculating Total Relationship Balance for Customers who hold both sole and joint
accounts
the Total Relationship Balance for joint accounts.
Total Relationship Balance is calculated by adding up the average daily balances of the
Customer accounts for the calendar month.
2) Customers may be charged a monthly below balance fee (BBF) if their TRB falls below the
minimum requirement. Such fee is illustrated in HSBC Premier Tariff Schedule which can be
updated from time to time.
3) The Bank may, in its sole discretion, remove Premier status from Customers who fail to
meet the eligibility criteria, after a period of time, as determined by the Bank.
