Terms and Conditions - Summary (The following is for reference only. Please refer to the attached Terms and Conditions for details.) Section I General Terms Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms that apply generally to the operation of the Master Account. For example, there are terms relating to the use of the Customer personal data, bank charges, joint accounts, variation of terms, termination of Account etc. Section II Savings Accounts Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms relating to the operation of a Savings Account. Section III Current Accounts Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms relating to the operation of a Current Account. Section IV Time Deposits Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms relating to the placement, renewal, withdrawal and interest payment of time deposits. Section V Debit Card and Credit Card Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms relating to handling the Customer Debit Card and Credit Card, the Personal Identification Number (PIN) and the transactions performed by using the Card. Section VI Secured Credit Facilities Under this Section, the Customer will find the terms relating to any secured credit facility granted to the Customer and THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO CHARGE THE CUSTOMER ASSETS SECURITY FOR SUCH FACILITY. Section VII Internet Banking Under this Section the Customer will find the terms relating to the Customer use of our Internet Banking Section VIII PhoneBanking Service Under this Section the Customer will find the terms relating to the Customer use of our Phonebanking Service Section IX Overseas HSBC Premier Services Section X Total Relationship Balance (TRB) and Below Balance Fee Appendix Definitions 02
Premier Master Account Terms and Conditions The following Master Account Terms and Conditions (which may be amended from time to time by the Bank at its sole discretion) apply to Premier Master Account and any other Accounts opened or to be opened under Premier Master Account with the Bank. The Customer agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions: Section I General Terms 1. Interpretation 1.1 Terms and expressions used herein (including the Appendix), unless the context otherwise requires, have the meanings set out in Appendix attached hereto. 1.2 Unless the context requires otherwise, any reference in these Terms and Conditions to: (a) “Section”, “Sub-Section”, “Clause” or “Appendix” shall be construed as a reference to a section, sub-section or clause hereof or an appendix hereto; (b) These Terms and Conditions or any other agreement or document shall be construed as a reference to the same as amended, varied or supplemented from time to time; (c) A statute shall be construed as a reference to the same as amended or re-enacted from time to time. 1.3 Section, Sub-Section, Clause and Appendix herein are for ease of reference only. 2. Use of Accounts/Services 2.1 The Customer agrees to use each Account in accordance with their Premier Master Account Terms and Conditions and only for lawful purposes. The Bank reserves the right to investigate illegal or improper use of any Account and may, without notice, close an Account, suspend Account activity or otherwise limit or cancel services to ensure compliance with this Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws. 2.2 The Customer also agrees to use all Accounts, any product or service and E-Banking in accordance with any supplemental agreement or service guide or user manual issued by the Bank from time to time. 2.3 The Customer may, subject to procedures (including the supply of documents) as the Bank may specify from time to time, utilise any one or more of the Services or open any one or more Accounts at any time by issuing an Instruction in such form as may be acceptable to the Bank. 2.4 Unless otherwise specified by the Bank, all Services are provided by, and all Accounts maintained with, the Bank. Where any Services or Accounts are to be provided by or maintained with any third party, the Customer may be required to accept specific Terms and Conditions and the provisions of any mandate(s) applicable thereto as required by the third party. 2.5 (a) Where HSBC Premier Emergency Services are provided to the Customer, the Customer agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions upon which the services provided by MasterCard International under HSBC Premier Emergency Services are offered and provided. 03

<strong>Terms</strong> and <strong>Conditions</strong> and the provisions of any mandate(s) applicable thereto as<br />
required by the third party.<br />
2.5 (a) Where <strong>HSBC</strong> Premier Emergency Services are provided to the Customer, the<br />
Customer agrees to be bound by the <strong>Terms</strong> and <strong>Conditions</strong> upon which the services<br />
provided by MasterCard International under <strong>HSBC</strong> Premier Emergency Services are<br />
offered and provided.<br />
