I have two jobs in Portsmouth, and having to pay a toll daily will affect me financial and will most likely force me to
find another job that does not require me to pay a toll to get there. I teach during the day and supplement my
income by bartending part‐time at night and the Oldetowne restaurant community and business WILL be affected by
the tolls on the tunnels. People from other citiest may be discouraged to come dine in Portsmouth because they

Tolls on tunnels that are such vital arteries to the local area will have a massive effect on businesses throughout the
area. If I traveled to and from work and paid the toll both ways, I will do everything possible to avoid going through
the tunnels again. As a result I will think twice before traveling to spend my remaining money in Norfolk or Virginia
