cious as the newest classes of antihypertensives; new insulins are no better
than the older generations, including porcine insulins. A lot of other popular
medicines, like those prescribed for osteoporosis, depression, malignant
diseases, as well as the vaccines, also need the thorough reassessment of
their use. How come our knowledge and perception of the drugs differs so
diljem svijeta. Bioetički aspekti uporabe konoplje ogledaju se u
njezinoj medicinskoj primjeni koja razvija dilemu medicinskog, pravnog
i društvenog tretmana konoplje. U nekim zemljama Zapadne Europe konoplja
njena šira društvena, medicinska i druga uporaba.
BIOETHICAL ASPECTS OF HEMP
Hemp is a botanical herb that is widely available and usable all around
the world. Bioethical aspects of the use of hemp are reflected in its medicinal
application, which develops dilemma for medicinal, legal and social
treatment of hemp. Some countries of Western Europe are already using
cannabis for medicinal purposes, as opposed to Croatia, where the hemp
plant is stigmatized and legally sanctioned to prevent its wider social, medicinal
and other uses. For this reason it is important to sensitize the public
for the use of hemp, so patients could use it with dignity as a socially acceptable
and legally regulated medicine.
