Advantages<br />

<br />

High Efficiency<br />

Efficiency has been improved by minimizing gas leaks<br />

during compression.<br />

The gas leakage can be minimized because the pressure<br />

difference between the 2 compression pockets next to<br />

each other is less than the total pressure difference, which<br />

takes intake pressure from the outlet pressure.<br />

Also, the compressed gas does not expand, as the outlet<br />

opening is not connected to the low-pressure side.<br />

High Reliability<br />

Orbiting scroll is supported by intermediate pressure<br />

in high pressure chamber, which can reduce sliding<br />

parts and realize higher reliability.<br />

Higher resistance to ON/OFF operation thanks to less oil<br />

foaming.<br />

Less fluctuation of temperature and pressure for discharge gas.<br />

Suitable for variable speed control, since oil is<br />

supplied to compression room by pressure difference.<br />

Low noise and Low Vibration<br />

As intake, compression and emission are continuously<br />

carried out as a series of movements, the scroll compressor<br />

has low noise and low vibration, plus the torque after<br />

compression is nearly the same as other compressors.<br />

Size & Weight<br />

Thanks to compact design, adoption of Hitachi horizontal<br />

scroll compressors realizes space-saving. Especially, the<br />

HVAC has become thinner. They are mainly used in Metro<br />

and LRT projects,where installation space is limited.<br />

Reducing the weight of the air conditioner by adopting<br />

HITACHI horizontal scroll compressors can realize<br />

power-saving.<br />
