December 16-án a WIPO kezdeményezésére az
MSZH-ban nemzetközi részvétellel interregionális
műhelytalálkozóra került sor „Az egyetemi IP és korai
szakaszban lévő innováció irányítása az átmeneti
országokban” címmel.
6.4. REGIONÁLIS ÉS KÉTOLDALÚ
EGYÜTTMŰKÖDÉS
A kétoldalú hivatali találkozók keretében hazánkba
látogatott a Kirgiz Állami Szabadalmi Hivatal, a Portugál
Nemzeti Iparjogvédelmi Intézet, az Osztrák Szabadalmi
Hivatal küldöttsége, a Finn Szabadalmi és
Lajstromozási Hivatal főigazgatója, az Izlandi Szabadalmi
Hivatal főigazgatója. Hivatali küldöttség
járt a francia Nemzeti Szellemitulajdon-védelmi Intézetben,
valamint az Egyesült Királyság Szellemitulajdon-hivatalában.
Folytatódott a regionális és a kétoldalú szellemitulajdon-védelmi
együttműködés. A magyar és az
osztrák hivatal elnöke 2008 szeptemberében
együttműködési megállapodást írt alá a Szabadalmi
Együttműködési Szerződés (PCT) alapján végzendő
munkák tárgyában. Régiónk több nemzeti hivatalának
(pl. szlovén és macedón) is együttműködési megállapodása
van az MSZH-val a szabadalmi bejelentésekkel
kapcsolatos, angol nyelvű kutatás elvégzése tárgyában.
A visegrádi országok iparjogvédelmi hivatalainak
vezetői 2008 májusában Gdanskban tartották éves találkozójukat.
Több alkalommal került sor szakértői
szintű találkozóra az osztrák és a magyar hivatal irányításával,
kilenc közép-kelet-európai ország nemzeti
hivatalának együttműködésével kínált regionális védjegykutatási
szolgáltatás, a CETMOS projekt keretében.
Júniusban került sor a 6. magyar–román regionális szellemitulajdon-védelmi
találkozóra Szegeden.

Indications, as well as the meetings of the Intergovernmental Committee on Genetic Resources,
Traditional Knowledge and Folklore.
From 23 to 25 June, co-organised by WIPO, Biopolisz Innovation Services Ltd., Szeged and the HPO, a regional
workshop was held on industrial property management and successful technology licensing at universities
and research centres with the participation of foreign and Hungarian speakers. Upon the initiative
of WIPO, on 16 December an inter-regional workshop was organised in the HPO, entitled Management of
academic IP and early-stage innovation in transitional countries.
6.4. REGIONAL AND BILATERAL COOPERATION
Regional and bilateral intellectual property cooperation continued in 2008. The presidents of the Hungarian
and Austrian Patent Offices signed a cooperation agreement in September 2008 on works to be done
under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Several national offices of the region (e.g., Slovenian and Macedonian)
have concluded cooperation agreements with the HPO on the performance of English language
search related to patent applications.
The heads of the industrial property offices of the “Visegrad countries” had their annual meeting in Gdansk
in May 2008. On several occasions, experts’ meetings were held on CETMOS, the regional trademark search
service offered with the coordination of the Austrian and Hungarian offices and with the participation of
nine Central and Eastern European countries. The 6 th Hungarian-Romanian regional intellectual property
meeting took place in Szeged in June.
As regards bilateral interinstitutional meetings, the HPO was visited by delegations from the State Patent
Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Institute of Intellectual Property of Portugal, the Austrian Patent
Office, as well as by the director generals of the Finnish Patent and Trademark Registration Office and the
Icelandic Patent Office. Delegations of the HPO paid visits to the French Intellectual Property Institute and
the UK Intellectual Property Office.
