Thousands of happy delegates this year,
and counting…
We’ve had a busy year at Hilton London Metropole. As one of Europe's biggest and
best-connected hotel and conference centres, we have quite a reputation to uphold.
We may have won awards for our services, space and flexibility but, as they say in
Theatreland, you’re only as good as your last review. So we’ve collected together
some recent testimonials from the hundreds of clients for whom we’ve helped host
and organise conferences and events throughout the year.
We endeavour to continue providing our clients with the finest facilities, service
and support to retain our reputation as one of London’s biggest and best hotels
for conferences and events.
High street giant HMV held their
two-day games conference,
showcase and awards ceremony here.
After presentations, games trials and
a gala dinner serenaded by Amy
Winehouse, HMV’s events manager
sang our praises:
“The event was very good.
The facilities at the hotel
are excellent and delegates
were particularly
impressed with the food.
I’m very happy.”
Accenture also hosted a two-day
conference with us, inviting 900
delegates. “It was an outstanding
success,” their events organiser
ventured. “Your attention to detail over
all requests, especially the numerous
breakouts and the team activities, was
fantastic. Accenture were delighted.”
As well as our experienced C&B Guest
Services Managers, our talented team
of chefs have received plenty of praise
this year at the Hilton London Metropole.
The Comedians’ Golfing Society,
chipped in with “Thank you, thank
you, thank you for everyone’s help
at our event. The food was wonderful
and everything was as promised
and nothing appeared too
much trouble.”
Computer People were
powerfully enthusiastic about their
awards dinner:

‘one of the best’ –
again! (It must be the

compliment the chef and
his team. We’ve held our
awards at the Met for
3 years now and I am

We’ve got the best connections
Our exceptional location, overlooking
the attractions of Oxford Street
and Marylebone, means Heathrow
Airport is only 15 minutes away
via the Heathrow Express from
Paddington station, a short walk

has recycled the weight of 44
London buses in waste, re-pulped
enough paper to make up for
10,238 felled trees and reduced
enough electricity usage to run
a colour TV for 239 years.

on environmental issues.

We’ve always known our Front of House Manager
was a star, and at last she’s getting the extra
recognition she deserves. Chiara DiRenzo has
been short-listed for a Hotel Cateys award – the
equivalent of being nominated for an Oscar in
the hospitality industry. We’re sure she’ll outclass
all the other Front of House management
competition, and wish her the very best of luck!
