2010 Charger Football
Welcome to Hillsdale College Football
Phil Davignon (76 near middle of line) was honored at the 2009 AllState Sugar Bowl
for being named a winner ofthe AllState GoodWorks Award. Davignon was one of
12 players throughout all divisions of college football to be recognized for his
achievements on the field, in the classroom, and through service to the community.
Bill Kanitz accepts the 2009 GLIAC
Commissioner’s Award from head coach
Keith Otterbein at a basketball game last
season. Kanitz earned the award thanks
to a combination of excellence in the
classroom and on the football field.
2010 Hillsdale College Athletic Hall of
Fame inductee Jim Eckhardt inspects
his drive during last summer’s golf outing,
held at Arbor Hills Golf Course in
Jackson. Eckhardt has called Charger
football games on the radio for more than
30 years.
Giving back to the community is a high
priority for the football program, and one
way the team does that is through its youth
camp, held each April. Above, Ryon Wiska
takes the best punch from a camper. At
right, Ben Karaba signs an autograph for an
excited youngster.
