<strong>2010</strong> Charger Football<br />
FACILITIES<br />
Re-named after the legendary head coach, Frank “Muddy” Waters Stadium is situated on<br />
the east end of campus, and seats approximately 8,500 fans. Hillsdale College football teams<br />
have been playing on this same spot of earth for more than 60 years. The stadium has recently<br />
undergone several significant upgrades. New ProGrass artifical surface was installed before the<br />
2005 season, and banners and press box lettering were added before the 2006 season.<br />
One of the longest-running projects in the program’s history came to fruition in January 2007,<br />
when the refurbished locker room was in place and ready for use. The area is now known as the<br />
Frank “Muddy” Waters/Joseph M. Vijuk Locker Room, named in honor of the former coach<br />
and former All-American player, whose generous donation helped finish off the gorgeous locker<br />
room.<br />
