Myers Herefords of Colome, SD purchased two bulls, one which was Lot #2, selling for $2,500 and consigned by Haber. ACH 145 Schock 405 has a 76 lb. birth weight and EPDs of BW 0.2, WW 38, YW 60, Milk 12 and M&G 31. A full house at the Hoffman Sale. Stan Marciniak of Wibaux, MT purchased Lot #47, JPH 6206 Piranha 71P, for $2,500. 71P is a 02/17/04 son of RPH Remington 6206 consigned by Colin Hoffman giving his pre-sale speech. Jackson Polled Herefords with EPDs of BW 3.8, WW 39, YW 68, Milk 20 and M&G 40. First year out for any new production sale can cause ulcers but these three breeders got along just fine. Snowshoe Cattle Company, of Pompeys Pillar, MT and Ken and Shannon Jackson of Rudyard, MT rounded out the threesome participating in this first Young Guns Polled Hereford production sale. Lot #3, ACH 145 Schock Prolific 406, consigned by Cody and Shad Haber, is a 03/02/04 son of HPH Stockman 493C 145 with good eye and scrotal pigment and lots of thickness. 406 has a birth weight of 82 lbs. and EPDs of BW 0.1, WW 30, YW 51, Milk 14 and M&G of 29 and was purchased by Kirk Harkis of Forsyth, MT. Lot #8, ACH 145 Schock 414, consigned by Cody and Shad Haber was purchased by Jason Winter, Winter Polled Herefords of Goodrich, ND, for $3,500. 414 is a 03/09/04 son of HPH Stockman 493C 145 with a birth weight of 86 lbs. and EPDs of BW 2.2, WW 32, YW 53, Milk 13 and M&G of 29. Black Tiger Ranch of Warwick, ND purchased Lot #29, Snowshoe 15G Glacier 16N, for $3,000. 16N is an 04/03/03 son of BT CL Domino 15G consigned by Snowshoe Cattle Co. with EPDs of BW 2.9, WW 30, YW 43, Milk 14 and M&G of 29. Lot #18, Snowshoe 236G Bulldozer 1P, is a 01/10/04 son of Remitall Governor 236G and consigned by Snowshoe Cattle Co.
