The highest selling bull of the sale was
a Hereford consigned by Hirsche Hereford
of High River, AB. GH Neon 17N was
purchased by Upstream Ranch of Taylor,
NE for $51,000. The highest selling
Charolais bull was DWK Till’s Echo 3N
from Wilkie Charolais of Big Valley, AB
and sold for $20,500 to Roy Mulkay,
Phillipe Lusson, Elizabeth McAttie and
Tyler Bullock. The high selling Angus of
the sale was the Angus Grand Champion
Belvin Patriot 34’04 from Belvin Angus
of Innisfail, AB. Remitall Cattle Co. of
Olds, AB purchased him for $12,000.
The Calgary Bull Sale also extends

Colin and Mary Beth Hoffman and family
and Dorothy Hoffman worked very
hard to make this sale a success. With the
passing of Gerald, Colin and family probably
thought of this sale as their first big
test in the Hereford industry. Well, they
shouldn’t worry. It was a great success!
The first four top-selling bulls were
sired by Mohican Hunter 57H.
Top selling bull was Lot #9, HH Hunter
368P, a polled 02/20/04 son of Mohican
Hunter 57H and out of one of the cows
Hoffmans purchased from Ray Johnson.
368 sold for $6,750 to Don Crays of
Tobias, NE and had a birth weight of 78
lbs. and EPDs of BW 2.8, WW 32, YW
60, Milk 24, M&G 40 and REA of 0.17.
Lot #51, HH Hunter 572P, is another
son of Mohican Hunter 57H and sold to
Plager Polled Herefords of Table Rock,
NE and Tegtmeier and Sons of Burchard,
NE for $6,750. 572P had a birth weight
of 86 lbs. and EPDs of BW 2.6, WW 56,
YW 90, Milk 13, M&G 41 and REA of
0.21.
HH Progress N330, Lot #5, was sold
to Lund Herefords of Carrington, ND for
$6,000. N330 is also sired by Hunter and
has a birth weight of 85 lbs. and EPDs of
BW 4.2, WW 57, YW 91, Milk 13, M&G
41 and REA of 0.28.
Lot #30, HH Hunter P464, is a 03/07/04
57H son and out of a MH Patriot 3159
daughter that sold to Gene Korzan of
Kimball, SD for $4,750.
Darwin & Cindy Aman of Eureka, SD
purchased Lot #17, HH Landlord 397P for
$4,750. 397P is a 02/26/04 son of Remitall
Landslide 161L with a birth weight of 87
lbs.and EPDs of BW 3.6, WW 29, YW
55, Milk 16, M&G 30 and REA of 0.19.
Top selling heifer, HH MS Laddie P348,
went to Daniel Kite of Hooper, UT for
$1,850. P348 was sired by D&M 53H
Latitude 102L.
Dean Suelflow of White Lake, SD purchased
Lot #93, HH MS Laddie P407,
another Lattitude daughter, for $1,700.
Volume bull buyers were Dennis Mitchell
of Houghton, SD with 10 head and Gene
Korzan of Kimball, SD with 4 head.
Volume heifer buyer was Joe Fritzke of
Wessington, SD.
