graveyards in their disastrous, feeble,
futile efforts to fly!
And if true - the fossil record
would ABOUND with such evidence.
You would see fossi l lizards with
just a T INY H INT of a feather, g rowing
from one elbow. You'd see dozens of
other strange creatures, with feathers
growing from thei r tails, their knees,
and their heads. T here would be
broken, sprained, bedraggled, watersoaked
feathers ALL THROuGH the fossi
l record - si nce evolution would have
you believe the development from scales
to feathers took MI LLiONS and M IL­
LIONS of years!
But why not look at it in REVERSE?
What if, as the first "feathers" made
their appearance on li zards, they were
UNWELCOME?
H ow would YOU feel about a stupid
feather growing from your tailbone?
Probably - a little weird I Probably,
you'd PLUCK IT OUT! (After aU, people
shave and shave and shave-and still
the hai r g rows back - and people burn,
and electrocute, and shave, and pluck,
and even remove whol e patches of skin,
just to get rid of unsightly body hair.)
How wou ld allY self-respecting,
slithery li zard feel when he suddenly
found FEAT IIERS on his forearms?
Think of what kind of feathers they'd
be, with him dragging them in and
out of holes in the rocks, over logs,
into lakes and rivers, up thorn bushes,
and across sandy deserts!
He'd probably tear the things out
with his teeth in sheer frustration!

feather one of the most powerfully
built, yet lightest structures!

Tbe PLAIN TRUTH
Then the evolutionary process
(which has not been proved) would
have been halted at this ridiculous
"stage," and to this day, you would
observe dejected lizards, pulling at
broken "feathers," or trying to rub
them off against brush and rocks.
No - evolutionary thought just
DOES NOT I·IAVE THE ANSWEH for the
true origin of /l ight!
T he fantasticall y complex, beautiful,
inspiring species of birds around lIS,
with their breathtak ing ability, their
almost incredible migratory powers,
and their SP.ECIALLY built bodies just
CANNOT BE EXPLAINED by millions of
tons of MISSING EVIDENCE!
Vast DIFFERENCE Between
Birds and Reptiles!
Certainly, many creatures lay eggs.
Crocodi les do. Birds do. But so do
duck-billed platypuses, and so do insects.
But here, the simi larities stop!
The huge, powerfully bui lt, scaled
and armor-plated reptiles, with their
gigantic jaws, their meaty, bony, powerful
tails, and their weathered, wrinkled,
thick leather-like hides are about as
FAR from being the "closest living rdati
ves" to our birds as they can be!
Think of it!
Birds have tiny, fragile, porous
AIn-F RAM E skeletal structures. They
have air sacs through their bodies,
which act as "extra lungs." They have
a fa/lid heartbeat, with rapid metabolism.
They have a myriad of different
kinds of beaks, claws, wings, and
heads - each for a SET, SP ECIFIC and
very SPECIAL PURPOSE !
Man wi [1 stop at nothing - no
matter HOW preposterous it seemsin
his attempt to explain the marvelous
CREAT ION without a great and Wonderful
CREATOR!
One of the GREAT PROOFS OF GOD
is DESIGN! Tt is FAR more logical to
point to egg-laying, bony frames, and
various simi larities in characteristics in
ALL creatures, as proof of ONE GREAT
DESIGNER, who util ized ONE GREAT
MASTER VLAN in H is Creation, than to
say one "evolved" from the other !
When you view a row of simi lar
buildings, YOll observe they were de-

signed by the SAME ARCH ITECT - you
don't reason the little ones "evolved"
from the big ones.
And when you see the similarities in
"nature" YOLI arc seeing the SAME
SELF-EVIDENT TRUTH! One GREAT AR­
CHITECT designed ALL LIFE - CREATED
IT - PUT IT ON THIS EARTH FOR A
GREAT PURPOSE!
What a truly breathtaking study it
would be if, throughout ornithology,
the wondrous, warm, loving, and oftentimes
HUMOROUS wisdom of GOD were
taught to our children, in place of the
empty suppositions of the no-God
theories of today!

positive MARVELS in the bird world ­

of MIND. It is referring to his natural
CHARA CTER!
But HOW does God go about changing
this deceitful, wicked NATUREthis
"heart" - this attitude of MIND?
WHAT is the Gospel Message for doing
that - for giving "salvation"?
Jesus began His Gospel Ministry
and teaching, saying, "11le time is fulfilled,
and the Kingdom of God is at
hand: REPENT ye, and BELIEVE the
Gospel" (Mark 1:l, 14-l5). Two conditions
H e said WE must perform,
REPENT, and BELIEVE!
On the great day of Pentecost when
Peter had received God's H oly Spirit,
he explained the WAY of salvation:
"REPENT, and be baptized everyone
of YOll in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit"
(Acts 2:38).
Again, same teaching: Two conditions
- REPENT, and BE LI EVE, To "be
baptized" is the outward ceremony of
the inward BELIEVING. Example: The
eunuch said to Philip, "See, here is
water; what doth hinder me to be
baptized? And Philip said, if thou
