At the conclusion of this seminar, attendees will: 

• Apply genetic testing guidelines and interpret positive, 

intermediate, reduced penetrance, and negative test results 

sponsored by 

• Diagnose cognitive, behavioral, and motor signs and symptoms of 

HD from premanifest to late stage disease 

• Prescribe treatments for HD symptoms amenable to pharmacologic 

therapy 

• Utilize behavioral, pharmacologic, and ancillary speech, 

occupational, and physical therapy interventions for treating motor 

and behavioral symptoms 

• Apply compassionate allowance designations for successful 

navigation of the Social Security disability process for patients 

• Navigate the complex management of lateand end-stage disease 

• Access Northwest community and social services for patients 

• Communicate information to their patients about clinical research 

in the Northwest
