Haver Filling Systems, founded in 1977 in Harrison/
New York, is a subsidiary of Haver & Boecker, in
Oelde/Germany. The company moved to its own facility
in Conyers, Georgia in 1989 and has grown steadily
ever since. Our Team is responsible for the markets of
North America, Central America, the Caribbean as
well as some countries of South America.
Haver & Boecker, the German parent company, was
founded in 1887. The company had always had strong
ties to the United States. The second generation of the
founder’s family traveled as early as 1914 to the US.
The purpose of those trips was to establish a distribution
center for wire-cloth in the Philadelphia area. Later, in
1925 Haver acquired the license from the Modern-Bag-
Packaging-Company in New Jersey to build and distribute
valve bag packing machines in Europe. A similar license
agreement was signed again in 1930 to manufacture
and sell four-bearing screens in Europe.
