Two Hanoverians were in the lead in the<br />
dressage classes for six-year olds in Toledo.<br />
Juan Francisco Fernandez Munoz rode Dhannie<br />
by Don Crusador/Weltmeyer (breeder:<br />
Hinrich Engelke, Doerverden) in the final into<br />
second place behind Sandronnerhall.<br />
Don Charly (VA)<br />
Dressage competitions at the highest level<br />
were held in Doha/Qatar for the first time.<br />
Don Charly by Don Gregory/Inschallah AA<br />
(breeder: Ewald Grotelueschen, Wardenburg)<br />
was in on it with rider Minna Telde. The pair<br />
placed fifth in the Grand Prix-freestyle.<br />
Don Johnson FRH<br />
Don Johnson FRH by Don Frederico/Warkant<br />
(breeder: Ulrike Meyer, Dedelstorf) and Isabell<br />
Werth competed in the Grand Prix and<br />
the Freestyle at the World Cup-competition in<br />
‘s-Hertogenbosch finishing on third place in<br />
both against tough Dutch competition.<br />
Donaublick<br />
Tatjana Svehla from Austria rode Donaublick<br />
by Don Vino/Brentano II (breeder: Martin<br />
Schmid, Legden) into third position in Prix St.<br />
Georges and into fourth position in Inter I in<br />
Stadl Paura.<br />
Fabrioso (VA)<br />
Jenny Baldwind and Fabrioso by Federweisser/Fabriano<br />
(breeder: ZG Lemcke and Soetebeer,<br />
Ebstorf) finished the Grand Prix Special<br />
of Del Mar in fourth position.<br />
Fleurie<br />
Fleurie by Florestan/Akzent II (breeder: Diana<br />
Eustace, Surrey/Great Britain) was born in<br />
England. The 13-year old performed a hattrick<br />
with rider Erin Williams at the CDI in<br />
Addington/Great Britain: she won all three<br />
classes for juniors.<br />
For My Love<br />
Katharina Stumpf traveled to the USA to participate<br />
in Florida’s dressage show series for<br />
the first time. The Austrian held her Grand<br />
Prix-debut on For My Love by For Feeling/Escudo<br />
(breeder: Heinrich Zettel, Neustadt) in<br />
Wellington. The pair celebrated a third place.<br />
Her Highness O<br />
Caroline Hoffmann impressed the crowds<br />
For My Love and Katharina Stumpf competed in<br />

with her Inter-freestyle on Her Highness O by<br />
Hohenstein/Weltmeyer (breeder: Matthias<br />
Ohmen, Stinstedt) in Wellington. The pair<br />
won this class after having placed second in<br />

Lombardo LHF (VA)<br />
Lombardo LHF by Londonderry/Werther<br />
(breeder: Klaus Jürgens, Sehnde-Bolzum)<br />
won the Grand Prix Special at Rancho Murieta<br />
after placing second in the Grand Prix. Brian<br />
Hafner rode the 13-year old who had<br />
found his way to the United States via<br />
Verden’s November auction in 2003.<br />
Lautrec<br />
Alexandre Ayache and Lautrec by Landclassic/Gibraltar<br />
(breeder: Willi Ehlers, Walsrode)<br />
celebrated Easter on the Cote d’Azur. The<br />
pair finished Inter II in second place and the<br />
Grand Prix in third in Nice/France.<br />
Naomy<br />
We can find the name Naomy on the international<br />
sports pages of <strong>THE</strong> <strong>HANOVERIAN</strong> for<br />
the first time. Juan Antonio Jimenez Cobo<br />
rode the Hofrat/Espri daughter (breeder: Uwe<br />
Buenger, Hemmingen) and won the Interfreestyle<br />
in Toledo after having placed second<br />
in Prix St. Georges and Inter I.<br />
Remington Steele<br />
Caroline-Marie Scheufele successfully competed<br />
Remington Steele by Ravallo/Gelria<br />
(breeder: Wilhelm Varrenkamp, Stemwede) in<br />
three classes for juniors at the CDI in Nice<br />
placing second each time.<br />
Rosmarin<br />
Kimberly Herslow won Prix St. Georges and<br />
Inter I by a large margin on Rosmarin by Rosentanz/Weltmeyer<br />
(breeder: Josef Brinkemöller,<br />
Georgsmarienhuette) in Wellington.<br />
The eight-year old finished the final freestyle<br />
in third place.<br />
Royal Angelo (VA)<br />
Three starts – three victories! Arianne Petroncini<br />
from Italy won all three young riderclasses<br />
in Nice on Royal Angelo by Rotspon/<br />
Pik Bube (breeder: Hans-Heinrich Müller, Stade).<br />
Rudy<br />
The judges awarded the fourth-highest score<br />
in the Grand Prix Special to Rudy by Rotspon/<br />
Werther (breeder: Joachim Schwarze, Obernkirchen)<br />
and his rider Rochelle Kilberg from<br />
Canada at Rancho Murieta/USA.<br />
Sandronnerhall<br />
Sandronnerhall by Sandro Hit/Donnerhall<br />
(breeder: Joachim Essink, Stockach) received<br />
top scores and won the final for six-year old<br />
dressage horses with rider Antonio Jose Diaz<br />
Porras in Toledo.<br />
Saturday Night Fever (VA)<br />
The young riders had a rendezvous in Toledo.<br />
Luis Cerrillo Sopena rode Saturday Night Fever<br />
by Sandro Hit/Fabriano (breeder: Gabriele<br />
and Joachim Nanninga, Suederwalsede) into<br />
second place in the FEI-team test and into<br />
third place in the individual test.<br />
Wadamur (VA)<br />
Mid March Susan Jaccoma competed Wadamur<br />
by Weltmeyer/Silvio (breeder: Peter Richter<br />
and Richard Fortkamp, Mellinghausen) in<br />
Wellington and placed second in the Grand<br />
Prix Special. The 13-year old finished the<br />
Grand Prix in fourth place and the Freestyle in<br />
third.<br />
Welserin (VA)<br />
The judges placed Welserin by Welser/De<br />
Niro (breeder: Gesine Maass, Bremen) in fifth<br />
place in the freestyle for juniors at the end of<br />
the CDI in Toledo. Maria Ruiz Fernando rode<br />
the eight-year old she had discovered on<br />
Verden’s summer auction in 2009.<br />
