<strong>Health</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essionals in international context 30 ECTS<br />
In the first part <strong>of</strong> the course you will learn how to give advice<br />
to cli<strong>en</strong>ts in the areas <strong>of</strong> healthy eating, sport <strong>and</strong> exercise <strong>and</strong><br />
in developing a healthy mind. You will learn about the theory,<br />
but you will also learn in practice how to use <strong>and</strong> interpret<br />
physical tests <strong>and</strong> questionnaires about eating (consumption<br />
<strong>and</strong> behavior).<br />
In the second part <strong>of</strong> the course you will receive an assignm<strong>en</strong>t<br />
in the field <strong>of</strong> your own pr<strong>of</strong>ession. You can also choose to join<br />
an international week abroad in combination with an<br />
assignm<strong>en</strong>t about healthy lifestyles.<br />

• A specialisation course: it <strong>en</strong>ables you to further deep<strong>en</strong> your<br />
skills <strong>and</strong> knowledge within your own pr<strong>of</strong>ession (pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>ile).<br />
• You will work with other pr<strong>of</strong>essionals in the area <strong>of</strong> healthy<br />
lifestyles.<br />
Who?<br />
• You are interested in improving health or performance <strong>of</strong><br />
cli<strong>en</strong>ts.<br />
• You are studying Physiotherapy, Nutrition or a health-related<br />
study.<br />
Admission <strong>and</strong> requirem<strong>en</strong>ts<br />
• You have successfully completed 90 ECTS at a university<br />
<strong>of</strong> applied sci<strong>en</strong>ces <strong>and</strong> have basic knowledge <strong>of</strong> nutrition,<br />
physiology, biochemistry <strong>and</strong> statistics.<br />
• You can communicate in writt<strong>en</strong> <strong>and</strong> spok<strong>en</strong> English (at least<br />
level B2, according to the Common European Framework <strong>of</strong><br />
Refer<strong>en</strong>ce).<br />
