- Treasurer’s Report -<br />
Another successful year has come and gone for the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>. The Accounting Department<br />
saw a lot <strong>of</strong> changes this year in personnel, from the Finance Officer to two Accounting Clerks. The<br />
<strong>Town</strong> also installed new s<strong>of</strong>tware in January <strong>of</strong> 2006 but the Department was up to the challenge.<br />
Working closely with the Department the <strong>Town</strong> is now able to reconcile the cash accounts through the<br />
bank. I want to thank them for all <strong>of</strong> their hard work.<br />
After negotiations with two banks the <strong>Town</strong> was able to obtain an $8,000,000 line <strong>of</strong> credit with a<br />
fixed interest rate <strong>of</strong> 4.13% from Citizens Bank. The <strong>Town</strong> used the line in May and November, 2006.<br />
I look forward to a great 2007.<br />
