ARTICLE 16<br />

Shall the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> vote to raise and appropriate the sum <strong>of</strong> $59,500 to make repairs to the <strong>Lane</strong><br />

<strong>Memorial</strong> <strong>Library</strong>, including addressing the problem <strong>of</strong> the handicapped ramp access in the winter? Such<br />

authorization shall include all design, architectural, engineering, demolition, removal, procurement,<br />

construction, landscaping, shipping, delivery, and training costs, together with all appurtenances<br />

necessary or desirable to complete such projects. Majority Vote Required<br />

<strong>Library</strong> Trustee, Sara Casassa <strong>of</strong>fered to amend the article by deleting the words ‘including’ from the<br />

second line, the word ‘training’ in the fourth line, and by changing ‘all appurtenances’ to ‘everything’.<br />

Seconded by Catherine Redden.<br />

The Casassa amendment passed.<br />

A motion to restrict reconsideration <strong>of</strong> article 16 was made by James Barrington and seconded by James<br />

Workman. The motion passed.<br />
