ARTICLE 24<br />

Shall the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> vote to raise and appropriate the sum <strong>of</strong> $2,700 to defray the costs <strong>of</strong><br />

services to <strong>Hampton</strong> residents by AIDS Response-Seacoast, a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it corporation, in providing<br />

direct services to persons with HIV infection or AIDS, and in providing education and prevention<br />

programs that inform the public how to stop the spread <strong>of</strong> HIV infection? (Majority vote required)<br />

ARTICLE 25<br />

Shall the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> vote to amend Chapter 2, Article 6 “Sewage Use and Construction<br />

Ordinance” by adding the following words to Section 2:603 (b) -- the “or municipal storm sewer<br />

system” and “connection to municipal storm drain system shall require the prior written approval <strong>of</strong><br />

the Director <strong>of</strong> Public Works” -- so that it reads:<br />

It shall be unlawful to discharge to any natural outlet or municipal storm sewer system within<br />

the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>, or in any area under the jurisdiction <strong>of</strong> said <strong>Town</strong>, any wastewater or<br />

other polluted waters, except where suitable treatment has been provided in accordance with<br />

subsequent provisions <strong>of</strong> this Ordinance. Connection to municipal storm drain system shall<br />

require the prior written approval <strong>of</strong> the Director <strong>of</strong> Public Works.<br />

ARTICLE 26<br />

“To see if the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> will vote to raise and appropriate the sum <strong>of</strong> Sixty five hundred<br />

dollars ($6,500) for the purpose <strong>of</strong> defraying the cost <strong>of</strong> services provided to the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong><br />

and its residents by Big Brothers Big Sisters <strong>of</strong> the Greater Seacoast.” (Majority vote required)<br />

We, the undersigned residents <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>, Petition the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> to place on the Warrant the<br />

request to see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to raise and appropriate the amount <strong>of</strong> $3,930 to support<br />

Rockingham Nutrition & Meals On Wheels Program’s service providing meals for older, homebound<br />

and disabled <strong>Hampton</strong> residents in the <strong>Town</strong>’s 2007 Budget. (Majority vote required)<br />

Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. (Majority vote required)<br />
