Hallberg-Rassy 64
New 2011
19.85 x 5.20 m 36 t 65’1’’ x 17’1’’ 79 500 lbs
One out of 72 different interior layouts
New flagship
The new flagship Hallberg-Rassy 64 is the greatest boat
ever built by Hallberg-Rassy.
8.6 cubic meters of aft deck locker space
The enormous 8.6 cubic meter aft deck lockers may store
a RIB dinghy. There is a large hydraulic fold out bathing
platform.
Clean uncluttered deck
The deck is clean and uncluttered. All skylights and
hatches are flush mounted. There is a sun deck integrated
into the aft cabin roof. The anchor winch is concealed under
the deck level. There are options for hydraulic underdeck
cutterstay furler and under-deck genoa furler. There
are in total eight mooring cleats on the top of the teak toe
rail, of which the spring cleats are double on each side. An
optional gangway can be folded away into the lazarette.
3.10 m cockpit length
The cockpit is unusually large; 3.10 m long, that’s 55 cm
longer than on the Hallberg-Rassy 62. There is a large,
fixed, teak cockpit table. All essential sailing control
functions are handled from the cockpit by a single sailor
using the push of buttons already as standard equipment.
Optionally there is a hydraulic cutter stay and even a
hydraulic Code Zero or furling Gennaker available, furling
at the push of buttons from the cockpit. The washboards
are elegantly and easily lowered into a hidden storage. The
cockpit is very well protected by the Hallberg-Rassy typical
soft top wind screen or hard top.
Lots of natural light
Below deck living areas have lots of natural light. All in
all there are no less than thirty-one (31) portlights and
skylights in the boat. There are six hull windows. Hull
windows were introduced by Hallberg-Rassy thirty-four
years ago back in 1976. You will look out through the four
hull windows when sitting down and a person of normal
length will look out through the large saloon portlights
when standing up. The interior offers twelve choices in 5
sections, creating no less than 72 different interior layouts
available for all tastes and needs.
Powerful engine
The engine is unusually well sized, even for a Hallberg-
Rassy. It is a 6 cylinder Volvo Penta D6-280 with 280 HP
and has 669 Newton meter torque at 2 500 RPM. Tanks
are generous too for long range with 1 800 liters of diesel
fuel and 1 300 liters of fresh water.
Large engine room
The engine room is large, has room for lots of technical equipment,
is well sound insulated and allows for easy maintenance.
Good turn of boat speed makes a real mile eater
The waterline is 2.23 m longer than on the Hallberg-Rassy
62. Frers speed prediction diagram for the Hallberg-Rassy
64 says the boat will achieve 9.2 knots boat speed at 10
knots of true wind and 75 degrees wind angle, and 11.5
knots of boat speed with just mainsail and traditional foresail
in 25 knots of true wind at 110 degrees wind angle.
This yacht is a real mile eater.
A world cruiser for a family crew
The Hallberg-Rassy 62 takes you anywhere in great
comfort, with a small crew. She offer lots of space for all
modern comfort equipment. Her cockpit is well protexted
by the Hallberg-Rassy typical softtop or hardtop.
Yacht of the year
The Hallberg-Rassy 62 has won both ”Yacht of the Year”
in Europe’s largest sailing magazine, Yacht from Germany,
as well as the title ”Import Boat of the Year 2006” in
Cruising World magazine from the USA.

”Comfortable living”
The Hallberg-Rassy 54 will take you anywhere in style
and comfort. In issue 12/2006, the Swedish Båtnytt
magazine says about the HR 54: ”The question is if it at
all is possible to build a cruiser any better than this”
”Komfortables Leben"

”Measure for Blue Water Cruisers”
The Hallberg-Rassy 48 has been elected Boat of the Year
in her category in the catalogue Yacht Trends 2006.
The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is just 21 cm longer than her
predecessor, the HR 46, but offers noticeable more living
space inside, thanks to better use of the hull length. The
waterline is no less than 135 cm longer. The fuel tank
capacity allows a range of 1 060 Nautical Miles, that’s
roughly from the English Channel to the Azores, motoring
non-stop in calm weather at cruising speed. The Hallberg-
Rassy 48 gives you more performance and more comfort at
the same time.
The German magazine "Nautica" says: "The HR 48 is
probably the best Hallberg-Rassy ever built. And that's a
lot."
Europe's largest sailing magazine "Yacht" says:
"The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is the new measure for blue water
cruisers"
In Ausgabe 17/2004 sagte ”Yacht”: ”Die HR 48 setzt neue
Massstäbe in der Langfahrtklasse”
Hallberg-Rassy 43 Mk II
13.57 x 4.08 m 12.7 t 44’6’’x 13’5’’ 28 000 lbs
”Brings blue water cruising yet one
step further”
The new Hallberg-Rassy 43 Mk II is a development
of the succeful HR 43, who was built in no less than 150
units. More than 30 improvements have been carried out,
including a new rig, a new superstructure and cockpit as
well as many interior improvements.
When the HR 43 was introduced, Europe’s largest
selling yachting magazine Yacht said:
“The sailing performance is excellent. The rudder
reacts almost without any delay when steering and you get
the feel of a considerably lighter boat. There is hardly a
comparable saloon that breathes such a generous feel. Here
you have elbowspace without end.”

”Award winning around the world”
SwissBoat/Yachting from Switzerland says:
“With the new HR 40 Hallberg-Rassy has exceeded their own
high level. This boat is the new measure in her class. The test
crew seldom use so many superlatives, but we rarely had reason
to do so either. The Hallberg-Rassy 40 is well thought out,
safe, solidly built, fast and elegant – simply just good! “
The Hallberg-Rassy 40 won the honourable award “Sailboat
of the Show” in Stockholm. The prize winner is
chosen by several yachting journalists. The jury says:“The
HR 40 is a long distance cruiser of highest quality from the
Swedish island Orust. The boat is the result of the yard’s long
experience in boatbuilding. This has in the Hallberg-Rassy 40
been further developed to a discrete elegance. Without looking
at trends, this is a modern yacht built to highest standards in
respect of equipment and comfort.”
In January 2003 the HR 40 was voted European Yacht of
the Year in the biggest category. In the USA she was presented
"Best liveaboard cruiser"as well as “overall Cruising
Boat of the Year 2004” in Cruising World magazine.
”Weltweiter Preisgewinner”
Traditionswerft Hallberg-Rassy gleich selbst.
Punkt.“
Die Hallberg-Rassy 40 gewann den ehrenvollen Titel
“Sailboat of the Show“ in Stockholm.
Klasse. Dazu Fahrtenschiff des Jahres 2004 in den USA.
Hallberg-Rassy 372
New 2009
”Sails like a dream”
The Hallberg-Rassy 372 is an all-new new Frers design, which won the honourable
award European Yacht of the Year 2010 within the Luxury cruiser
category. The 372 has a generous aft cockpit. The modern sail plan make her
very easy to handle. She won her class in Tjörn Runt 2010. The halyards run
hidden under the superstructure to the cockpit and are comfortably manoeuvred
by the optional electrical winches. This is an important part in the Hallberg-
Rassy “push button” concept. Five flush mounted skylights, a jib furler and an
optional electrical anchor winch, both fitted below deck, all contribute to a clean
and uncluttered deck layout. The interior is bright and generous with lots of
natural light. There is even a separate shower and an optional freezer.
Hallberg-Rassy 372: 11.35 m / 37’ 4’’ x 3.60 m / 11’ 10’’ 7.5 t
Hallberg-Rassy 37
”Ideal Blue Water Cruiser”
The Hallberg-Rassy 37 is a centre cockpit yacht, with a layout
dedicated for comfortable Blue Water Sailing. The engine room
is large for easy maintenance. There is also room for a 230 V
generator. Tank volumes are large for long trips. The aft cabin
has two separate berths. The woodwork is crafted by experienced
boat builders. The rig has triple spreaders with only 3 degrees angle.
That gives stability and does not interfere with the mainsail
·
Hallberg-Rassy 37: 11.32 m / 37’ 2’’ x 3.55 m / 11’ 8’’ 7.5 t
on downwind sailing, which is so common with Blue Water Sailing.
The Hallberg-Rassy 37 won ”Boat of the Year 2006” in the
category Production Cruiser 37-39 ft in the January 2006 issue
of Cruising World magazine from the USA. The same magazine
said after their test sail: “The boat’s seakindly performance gives the
assurance that it can take you anywhere, and once you get onboard,
that’s exactly where you’ll want to go.”
Hallberg-Rassy 342
”So viel Ausgewogenheit war selten”
10.32 x 3.42 m 5.3 t 33’10’’ x 11’3’’ 11 700 lbs
”Easy to fall in love with”
We quote Europe’s largest sailing magazine, Yacht:
”Frers has given this bestseller more comfort and more elegant
lines. The sailing performance is excellent, even in light airs. Her
speed increases effortlessly in response to every increase in wind
strength. She reacts instantly to steering commands, but not nervously.
From the moment you set sail she edicts a feeling of confidence,
a feeling that is retained even in a freshening wind. The
hull and deck are completely laminated and cast together with a
polyester mixture, the resulting rigidity to the hull gives the boat
a more comfortable ride in heavy seas. The high standard of the
build quality is valid throughout the whole build process and is evident
even to a non-expert. It is not only the precisely fitted interior
joinery, the dimensions and solid feel of the khaya mahogany with
its varnished finish which is smooth to the touch. Even in those
areas hidden from view Hallberg-Rassy is leading its competitors.
For example the heating hoses are double, in order to minimize loss
of heat. The pressure water pump is not just fitted anywhere as an
afterthought but in rubber in the already insulated engine room so
that noise levels are reduced. All these things are evidence of how
determined Hallberg-Rassy are to continually move the limits in an
effort to provide their clients with the ideal cruising yacht.
It is easy to fall in love with the 342 just because she has so many
better details than other yachts in this segment of the industry.
But it is not just the attention to detail, it is the great overall concept
where she scores points. At 10.32 x 3.42 m (33’10’’ x 11’3’’)
she has the best layout on the market, ideal for a crew of four.
This new model has what it takes to become a class leader. Part
of the explanation is that there is hardly any direct competition
for this yacht. But even if the competition were keener, the market
tougher, the HR 342 would still hold her exceptional position
safely. We have rarely sailed a yacht that is so carefully evaluated.”
See für Ruhe sorgt.
Denn so viel
Ausgewogenheit war selten.”
Hallberg-Rassy 310
New 2010
”She offers great comfort
and is a joy to steer”
The Hallberg-Rassy 310 is an all-new model for the
2010 season. She offers comfort and is a joy to sail.
Her internal living space is quite amazing for a 31
footer and has lots of natural light. She won her class
in the World´s largest inshore regatta, Tjörn Runt,
with 68 boats in her class.
9.42 x 3.18 m 4.35 t 30’11’ x 10’5’’ 9 590 lbs
Hallberg-Rassy 310: „Rundes Gesamtkonzept, exzellente
Verarbeitung, hohe Langlebigkeit. Und Spass macht die 310
auch noch"
