2. Zoning Map<br />

a) The official zoning map, Schedule A attached hereto, may be cited as the "Town of<br />

<strong>Bedford</strong> Zoning Map" and is hereby declared to form part of this <strong>By</strong>-<strong>law</strong>.<br />

b) The extent and boundaries of all zones are shown on the official zoning map and for all<br />

such zones the provisions of this <strong>By</strong>-<strong>law</strong> shall respectively apply.<br />

c) The symbols used on the official zoning map refer to the appropriate zones established<br />

by Section 1 above.<br />

3. Zones Not On The Map<br />

The Zoning Map of this <strong>By</strong>-<strong>law</strong> may be amended, in conformity with the Municipal Planning<br />

Strategy, to utilize any zone in this <strong>By</strong>-<strong>law</strong> regardless of whether or not such zone has<br />

previously appeared on any Zoning Map.<br />

3A. Where a property is subject to a rezoning approved between December 1, 2005 and<br />

April 29, 2006, the Development Officer may reduce the requirements adopted to<br />

implement the <strong>Regional</strong> Municipal Planning Strategy, to the greatest extent possible to<br />

allow the proposed development that was the subject of the rezoning. (RC-Jun<br />

4. Interpretation of Zoning Boundaries<br />

Boundaries between zones shall be determined as follows:<br />

a) where a zone boundary is indicated as approximately following the edge of a<br />

street or highway right-of-way, a railway right-of-way, or an electrical<br />

transmission line right-of-way, the boundary of the zone shall follow a line<br />

midway between the outside limits of the right-of-way(s);<br />

b) where a zone boundary is indicated as approximately following the edge of a<br />
