Clamping holders for outside threads
Important: In order to ensure that the cutting edge does to rub on the work piece, the pitch angle has to be correctly adjusted. For this purpose, shims for
different pitch angles are offered for the desired application. The pitch angle diagram below shows the matching shim.
Example: Ø = 30mm + pitch = 5 mm + holder size (16) for outside machining right = AE16 + 2.5°
The diagrams show that nearly no application requires the replacement of the shims. If a replacement is required, AE-shims have to be used for EX-RH- and IN-
LH-holders, and AI-shims have to be used for IN-RH- and EX-LH-holders.
