Die and mould making products<br />

The large Kieninger range of die and mould making products is tailored to meet the requirements of users<br />

in the high-performance sector. Continuous further development of the support and indexable insert geometry<br />

ensure high process stability and cost efficiency.<br />

Advantages of the support: Particularly high concentricity due to manufacturing in a clamping device.<br />

Advantages of indexable inserts:<br />

WPR-AF <strong>–</strong> WBR-AR: twisted tool cutting edge with positive chip breaker for smoother running and reduced<br />

cutting forces, thus less vibrations during milling. Improved viscosity and resistance to wear through direct<br />

pressing, for improved rate of metal removal and extended tool life. The ball profile milling insert with optimised<br />

cutting centre improves the chipping output. The direct air cooling integrated on the tool insert (Air-<br />

Jet) protects the cutter against "breakage at chip impact".<br />

WPB-AF: combines the geometrical advantages of ball inserts and toric inserts and thus improves the surface<br />

quality and extends the tool life. Optimised insert geometry for reduced runtimes. Suitable for use in<br />

the existing mill holder, thus reduced storage. Improved dimensional accuracy and improved process reliability,<br />

no cutting speed in the centre.<br />
