Join us for breakfast and our panel discussion with three women who have<br />

lived and worked in the US and abroad as they share their experiences of<br />

business negotiations in today’s multicultural environment. Naomi Abe Voegtli<br />

of SAP, Katrina Stilwell of Shell Oil Company and Anne Dewitte-Esler of AIG<br />

Strategic Relationship Group, will recount their observations from doing<br />

business in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Following our panel presentation,<br />

we will engage in round table discussions moderated by the Fellows to engage<br />

attendees in active discussions on the issue of gender and cultural diversity<br />

in negotiations. All are welcome to attend. In order to arrange seating, please<br />

The Committee continues its work to focus on domestic and international<br />

efforts to combat counterfeiting and piracy. The Committee's work includes<br />

monitoring US legislation and advocating on behalf of IP rights owners in<br />

support of improvements to address counterfeiting and piracy. The Committee<br />

also works to educate AIPLA's members on this important IP topic, as well as<br />

works with other organizations in a cooperative effort to strengthen US actions<br />

against counterfeiting and piracy.<br />

Representatives from regional and local IP associations are invited to join us to<br />

discuss improving the communication and cooperation between AIPLA and<br />

regional associations. We also will be discussing AIPLA initiatives that are of<br />

interest to the regional and local IP associations, including our Committee's<br />

program for "virtual roundtables" with the regional and local IP associations.<br />
