RICHMOND LAKE WALKING<br />

TRAIL: Joseph Dulik, Boy Scout<br />

Troup 184 presented a proposal<br />

for a walking trail on County<br />

owned land at Richmond Lake as<br />

part of his Eagle Scout requirements,<br />

with the County providing<br />

all material and Troup 184<br />

providing all labor. Kurt Smith,<br />

Fairgrounds Superintendent and<br />

Ken Dulik were also in attendance.<br />

The Commission, Kurt<br />

Smith and the States Attorney<br />

will review the proposal for possible<br />

action at a later date.<br />

COUNTY ROAD 6 & 7 DRAIN-<br />

AGE: Bill Edwards and Scott<br />

Dalgliesh met to discuss the<br />

reshaping of Brown County 6 and<br />

7 ditches that was acknowledged<br />

in September 2011 in Franklyn<br />

and Oneota Townships. Mr.<br />

Edwards received a letter from<br />

the County stating engineering<br />

would be required to work<br />

within the County right-of-way<br />

and then a County Highway Department<br />

hired contractor would<br />

need to complete the work. Mr.<br />

Edwards requested the ability to<br />

have his private contractor do<br />

the engineering and work. The<br />

Commission acknowledged that<br />

once the engineered plan and<br />

credentials of the contractor<br />

were reviewed and approved<br />

they would consider his request.<br />

BID – WASTE TIRE CLEANUP:<br />

by Elliott to authorize advertising<br />

public hearing to open, read<br />

and consider bids for the 2012<br />

Waste Tire Cleanup at the Brown<br />

County Landfill, to be held in<br />

Notice is hereby given that<br />

sealed bids will be received in<br />

the Chambers of the Brown<br />

County Board of Commissioners<br />

at the Court House Annex, Aberdeen,<br />

South Dakota, 57401, until<br />

8:45AM on March 27, 2012. At<br />

this time and place, all bids will<br />

be publicly opened, read, and<br />

considered by the Brown County<br />

Board of Commissioners for<br />

furnishing and delivery of “Two<br />
