RICHMOND LAKE WALKING
TRAIL: Joseph Dulik, Boy Scout
Troup 184 presented a proposal
for a walking trail on County
owned land at Richmond Lake as
part of his Eagle Scout requirements,
with the County providing
all material and Troup 184
providing all labor. Kurt Smith,
Fairgrounds Superintendent and
Ken Dulik were also in attendance.
The Commission, Kurt
Smith and the States Attorney
will review the proposal for possible
action at a later date.
COUNTY ROAD 6 & 7 DRAIN-
AGE: Bill Edwards and Scott
Dalgliesh met to discuss the
reshaping of Brown County 6 and
7 ditches that was acknowledged
in September 2011 in Franklyn
and Oneota Townships. Mr.
Edwards received a letter from
the County stating engineering
would be required to work
within the County right-of-way
and then a County Highway Department
hired contractor would
need to complete the work. Mr.
Edwards requested the ability to
have his private contractor do
the engineering and work. The
Commission acknowledged that
once the engineered plan and
credentials of the contractor
were reviewed and approved
they would consider his request.
BID – WASTE TIRE CLEANUP:

and consider bids for the 2012
Waste Tire Cleanup at the Brown
County Landfill, to be held in
the Commissioner’s Chambers,

LANDFILL SPRING RESIDEN-
TIAL CLEANUP: Moved by Fischbach,

Users Only during the Spring
Residential Cleanup at the Brown
County Landfill, to be held from
April 27 thru May 12, 2012.
No free waste will be accepted
from Commercial Contractors
or Businesses (including mobile
homes). In the event circumstances
beyond the control of
Brown County (flood, tornado,
fire, other) would occur during
the FREE Cleanup period
the Brown County Commission
would reserve the right to end
the free cleanup period at such
time and implement the regular
