The Official Results for the Greene County August 7, 2012 Primary election follow. The results changed from election night for the
following reasons.
1) Votes from touch-screen voting equipment were added to the count from the precincts in which they were cast (91 total
votes);
2) Provisional ballots were tallied and added to the totals (16 total votes);
3) An automated recount of Precinct Clay-C was conducted after reports of optical scan equipment problems-the new result added
92 “yes” votes to Constitutional Amendment No. 2 and 12 “no” votes. On City Charter Amendment No. 2012-3, six more “yes”
votes were added, and two more “no” votes as a result as a result of the automated recount.
4) The addition of 7 provisional votes and 5 touch-screen votes in the 130 th District House race left the two top candidates
still 28 votes apart.
The corrections to the vote totals changed no outcomes to any candidate race or ballot issue.
