Council initiate further investigation
into the water quality of the inflow
creeks to Brisbane Water in order to
identify the key sources of pollution
into these creek systems which are
affecting Brisbane Water.
Council undertake a monitoring
program for water quality and biota of
Brisbane Water which should be
designed to assess the sensitivity of
Brisbane Water to pollution pressure
and any disturbances that may occur
within the system.
Council compile a water quality inflow
creeks management plan when
sufficient long term data becomes
available, for the management of the
water body.
That a series of educational initiatives
be implemented to inform the
community of the needs and the ways
to reduce human impacts on Brisbane
Water.
