In Year 8 SOSE with Mrs Colley we have<br />
just completed a project titled ‘A Trip<br />
Around Australia’. Before we started<br />
our project we used our mapping<br />
skills to plan our holiday. We<br />
calculated distances between<br />
destinations and located tourist spots<br />
at each place. We had up to a month<br />
to complete our trip around Australia<br />
and with no limitation on money some<br />

people were very extravagant! We<br />
chose our own mode of transport and<br />
again some<br />
were very<br />
extravagant!<br />
Wouldn’t we all<br />
love to travel in<br />
Joel a Rolls Royce<br />
Phantom or our<br />
very own helicopter.<br />
We recorded our trip in a diary and moved our<br />
transport around our class map of Australia as<br />
we travelled.<br />
