In Year 8 SOSE with Mrs Colley we have just completed a project titled ‘A Trip Around Australia’. Before we started our project we used our mapping skills to plan our holiday. We calculated distances between destinations and located tourist spots at each place. We had up to a month to complete our trip around Australia and with no limitation on money some Marissa people were very extravagant! We chose our own mode of transport and again some were very extravagant! Wouldn’t we all love to travel in Joel a Rolls Royce Phantom or our very own helicopter. We recorded our trip in a diary and moved our transport around our class map of Australia as we travelled. Steph, Grant, Marissa, Tom Isobelle & Annie
